to all you people asking for fame 2 be reset, plz keep in mind that there are people that have earned their fame through none-gimmick builds.
Losing those players would not "fix" HA.

/agreed erasing fame would probably be the worst thing they could do. Because all the r9+ people probably would quit HA/GW all together.

The only things I would like to see added to tombs are new maps and game types. I like the fact that GvG plays more like an RTS and tombs plays more like an FPS-ish deathmatch; each has its own appeal in that regard. Tombs doesn’t need to become a 2nd GvG just to appease the GvGers who probably wouldn’t do tombs anyway.

6v6 was fun but I really don’t want tombs to change into nothing but VIM, dual ranger degen and 5 necro blood spike. I’d also like to see at least one form of pvp remain where pure heal monks are actually viable.

Resetting fame would only drive away long time players. I’m pretty sure every rank 8 or 11 player would rage when they get shafted out of their next emote. And I can't imagine any current r9+ players sticking around after over a years worth of fame is erased. True, it might bring in new players, but I’d rather not see it happen at the cost of losing the current stock of good players.

Instituting a new rating system is simply unneeded and would destroy the PUG aspect of HA. Even though I’m in a tombs guild, I like being able to sign on and play with friends or jump into the first rank 3-9 PUG I find. If I wanted to sit around for hours before I got to play, I’d go sit in my guild hall and arrange a GvG.

Random tombs would be shit; it would completely take all the coordination out of the 8v8 aspect of pvp and turn it into rock, paper, scissors. That’s all fine and well in 4v4, but RA is already regarded as scrub central, and isn’t very fun beyond a few runs when I’m hopelessly bored.

Remove all NPC's. Disable all weapons and all skills. The last team that does NOT quit because of boredom wins!

the first thing they need to do is bring back 6x6 for a 1 month trial. Really give it some tme to settle down and see how the builds run.

but yeah, definitely replace some maps, even if they added in some enviornmental effects like teleporters, poison water, spores, etc.

1. 6 vs.6

2. New maps, more relevant to number of participants - I like the idea of environmental aspects swordy, good call.

3. Better team forming system.

I have a idea like the fame idea for each class EXCEPT you could right click a player and check how much fame they got playing War,Monk, ext your actual fame would be totaled from all these but players can see what you have gotten from certain classes. But as someone stated earlier common builds like CG ranger would be mixed in with Vim and Tainted warders would be mixed in with B spikers wars with iwayers.Could someone think of a solution to this ?

-Resetting Fame Idea: Terrible idea, yes fame is certainly broken but this would be completely unfair to many players

-Individual Class Fame: Again, bad idea, this will make many people play only one profession (or 2). You wouldnt want to play as a monk if you have lots of warrior fame because people wont accept you so why not just play as a warrior. And this will not make player skill any more evident.

Random HA teams: Is that weed I smell???

6 vs. 6: Im not for this nor against it. if they did make this change I probably wouldnt mind it (faster matches, groups) etc. but I really dont think it would reduce the percentage of gimmick builds.

Basically I would want HA to have more creative maps with better objectives then just -kill other team -run relic to ghostly -cap altar and make it so it doesnt depend entirely on spirits and interrupts.

Edit- I just got a crazy idea.:O What if they have a penalty for teams that have 4 or more chars of the same profession? Cuz think about it! Every single gimmick build has or had this. bspike has more than 4 necros, vimway has rangers + warrs, smite has (had?) monks, Iway has warriors, starburst has eles... Maybe decreased health + energy? Nothing insanely huge but something that would hinder the build at least a little? This would encourage teams to be more balanced I would think. Sure it would take away a little from "Do whatever buld you feel like doing" attitude but to hell with that I wanna see more variety...

...and GvG is free from exactly the same phenomenon with the introduction of Champion points?

Would it be possible to limit fame farming in HA by only rewarding fame for wins in the higher levels (similar to the Champion Point rating 1200+ proviso). Possibly fame would only be awarded for winning halls, or alternatively would only kick in for the maps Courtyard ---> Halls.

Just a thought.

Tombs and GvG are completely different. Tombs is all about the Alter, GvG is all about the Guild Lord.

Nothing is the same.

Don't try to compare them.

Don't try to make them the same.

IMO this HA shit is gay, they need to go back to Tombs with the Rifts. Old school ftw.

Tombs is fine in my opinion, except 80% of the GW population can't play there.

Some of that 80% includes GvG players, don't they deserve this aspect of PvP to be made avalable for them?

would like to see totally new maps for one thing
I agree, while there's other flaws I'd like to see changed, at the very least adding a new mpa or two would be nice. I mean wher's the love RA, TA, GvG, they all got new maps, where's the love for HA? =(

I believe HA is already available to them, they just choose not to do it because they prefer GvG. How exactly does that call for a change to HA?
