Default smiter with wards..possible?

hi guys, me myself really not familiar with smiter but wondering if we could use wards in smiter? In other words, can this build adapt to HA 6v6? Please share your thought and possbile build. Thanks

what wards? I could see putting ward of stability on a smiter in that semi-free slot often taken by windborne speed or Judge's insight, but with smiting being both an offensive aand defensive role, i don't see why wards are needed in the first place.

We ran a Ward Against Foes smiter in our triple smite build. The attributes were a bit of a problem, but it worked reasonably well.

Aegis works better with the atts. If you can fit another Aegis into your build and chain them, it's probably better than a Ward. If you can't, a Ward can work fine.

The best we were able to get our smiter's ward to was 14 seconds, without sacrificing too many other atts. Drop another Aegis into the build and it will be up way more often than the ward. Aegis chains also serve as a cover for Zealots, which you will need to keep your smiter functional.

/agree with squidget. I see no point in a ward against melee when you have anywhere from 2-3 guardians flying around, plus you can spec for aegis. This IS the heroes' ascent folder, so the only ward I could foresee you needing would be stability for altar caps.

I'd like to see a full team build, actually, to see where you could squeeze a ward in. If you're running dual smite, I say just drop a smiter for a water ele with like foes, stabilty, and snares, to
A) dominate relic runs
B)snare opponents so you can put some beatdown on them.
