For 10 seconds, the next skill used by each ally within earshot cannot be interrupted. 8a 2c 5r

Of course, the main focus of this in HA is using it near the Ghostly Hero so that Claim Resource can't be interrupted. With Song of Concentration, the GH can only be interrupted by KDs.

Will it find its way into mainstream builds? It's flexible, since it doesn't have an attribute tie-in, but the 8 adrenaline is not easy to fulfill.

Ermm, Also, I think that Psychic Distraction may go through Song of Concentration, despite the blacking out effect not applying. This should be tested.

Claim Resource can't be disabled, otherwise there would be a Blackout Mesmer in every group.

There's already been a thread on this, must've disappeared. The only thing I foresee is, it has a very long cast time, which basically means the new meta involves two to three interrupts...one person to interrupt one ghostly, one person to interrupt song which I believe has a two second cast time. You can probably put a warrior with distracting blow on him though, and basically run the same altar cap builds with two interrupters. Not that imbalanced or overpowered in my opinion, just looks good on paper because the skill itself looks good, but the adrenaline needed+cast time makes it much weaker than it appears.

The thing is, unlike the ghostly, the paragon can go mesmer secondary and bring mantra of resolve. Now all he has to worry about is PD which can be taken care of by another member of the party with signet of humility, to be sure not to stand next to any mesmer (blackout), and finally to be standing in a Ward of Stability. That's pretty much it. If SoC becomes very popular, I believe people will stray away from interrupt builds and opt for either edenial or lots of damage O.O

Skill should be fixed. It's under some attribute and it doesn't require any.

True, I suppose it could be linked by having the duration increase with an attribute, or yeah just move it to N/A.

I'm fairly certain R/P are going to be very popular. I've seen (I think it was) RenO run a R/P in Team Arena during the event, that guy was just SPAMMING conditions like crazy. Apply Poison, Barbed Spear, Anthem of Flame, Cruel Spear (whatever, the Deep Wound ones), DAZED (Stunning). If condition builds are strong in HA now, just wait for the Paragon to show up. What's more, they get the benefit of not having to choose an awkward profession combo (having to choose paragon for SoC).

Welcome to the age of P/Mes running mantra of resolve and SoC Hell we might even see the return of Sb basicly make the game into interupt the Paragon. That and the fact I forsee chain "incoming" for holding builds Its really I agood thing they made it 6v6 or with paragons HA would be worse then it soon will be.

Ok so Ward of stabilty-->mantra of resolve---> Song of consintration

What does this mean 2-3 warriors sapming fear me to e denail the paragon of resolve and the ghost.

Hell if you really wanted fun bring a Shadow form sin or paragon with song of consintration and just run a PD warder 2 fearme warriors and 2 monks.

So if it's played right, SoC will make it much easier to cap, sure. Holding will still be just as hard as it normally is in 6v6 except for recapping, SoC is not going to have that large an effect IMO.

I was thinking about how holding will go earlier, its too much work to interrupt the SoC in halls and anyone that doesnt need their secondary can take P also to add confusion, might be more emphasis on keeping the hero alive, recapping could be too dangerous, blocking will still be the best method of preventing a cap.

It might be hard for a holding team if both teams take it - abit more stressful if you're using a build with really only one interrupt.

But if you run a build without interrupts you're not going to get far, and if you can't interrupt a 2 second cast - something is wrong.

People think it's easy to interrupt 2 sec casting time SoC,but it isn't. Let's say each team has one SoC,that's 2 SoC and 2 ghosts to worry about. Heh,gg

Yeh, try organising an interrupt on 2 SoC, 2 heros over vent, and thats saying that your interrupters dont get screwed or the target isnt hiding.

Also, we ran SoC during the preview event and already have a W/P build that will run it in the fear me iway setup ready to roll
