Default NF balanced build

http://gwshack.us/c547d

here's another build by HoT. it's not particularly innovative: everything about it had been done before. but from what i've seen, it works, and works quite well.

Play Notes

the build is a straight-up pressure build. its main spammable condition is burning, which causes mass degeneration.

hammer warrior:
this is primarily a spike character. charge up adrenaline, and hit the spike target. it's also quite versatile as well, and can assist in ganking missions.

Equipment
armor: full energy set, hammer helm
runes: superior vigor, minor hammer, minor strength, minor tactics, vitae
weapon set #1: 15^50 vampiric hammer of fortitude
weapon set #2: 15^50 fiery hammer of fortitude
weapon set #3: fiery sword of fortitude, +30hp, -5 damage (20%) shield
weapon set #4: fire wand, +30hp, -5 damage (20%) shield

YAAhoo Warrior:
this character is excellent at harrassing opponent flagrunners, because it can instantly snare them, remove conditions from self, and heal. basically, just snare and hit, and remove conditions as needed.

it is also extremely energy heavy, so it might be a good idea to carry a 15/-1 focus to help out with the energy. just remember to switch out of your zealous axe for that.

Equipment
armor: full energy set, axe helm
runes: superior vigor, minor axe, minor strength, minor tactics, vitae
weapon set #1: 15^50 zealous axe of fortitude, +30hp, -5 damage (20%) shield
weapon set #2: 15^50 fiery axe of fortitude, +30hp, -5 damage (20%) shield
weapon set #3: fire wand, +30hp, -5 damage (20%) shield
weapon set #4: fiery longbow of fortitude

Fire Eles:
should be pretty straightforward. spread burning, assist in spikes. the one with [["watch yourself!"@3] should also hit people with the wand to both spread more burning and charge the shout up. spam it as much as possible, since it synegizes with [[energizing finale] for energy.

Equipment
armor: full hp set, fire helm
runes: superior vigor, minor energy, minor fire, 2x vitae
weapon set #1: fire wand (20%/20%), fire focus (20%/20%)
weapon set #2: -5 energy fiery sword of fortitude, +30hp, -2 damage (enchanted) shield
weapon set #3: high energy set

paragon:
keep [[energizing [email protected]] on priority casters (monks, fire eles), and just spam your chants like there's no tomorrow. assist in applying burning by chucking your spears. put [[mending [email protected]] on teammates to counter some degen if needed.

Equipment
armor: full energy set, leadership helm
runes: superior vigor, minor leadership, minor motivation, 2x vitae
weapon set: fiery spear of fortitude, , +30hp, -5 damage (20%) leadership shield

i think everything else should be fairly self-explainatory.

Only thing I question is the RC+BL combination. I think you whould either go BL+Divert or 2 BL's.

yeah, i proposed the RC/BL backline before we tested two BL monks. apparently, 2 BL monks was a major hit with the other monks (yes, monks. my guild's got 5 monk players).

i've tested the YAAhoo warrior in RA. it is seriously lacking in upfront firepower, but it serves its intented role (running around and annoying the crap out of everybody) perfectly. i've thought about using critical chop instead of agonizing chop, but i feel that another 5 energy skill will overload it completely. not to mention, critical chop is not a reliable interrupt.

There is nothing wrong with RC.
