gotta be shepards, especially as now we have the +health runes, my Healers Boon monk is sitting on 650 Health, over 700 at 10% moral, i'm a bastard to spike

Judges is awesome, but with the spike heavy metagame, its not reliable

armor while ench is pretty nice for boonprot, and mixing armor sets is definitely worth it in many cases.

I too prefer straight out health. I sit on 640 normally, dropping down occasionally to 610 when changing weapon sets.

i go full judges. with the vitae rune, i consistently hover at a nice 600 hp. since i usually play the mo/a these days, i find the extra health from shepherd's to be mostly wasted. after all, as soon as i switch on dark escape, i'll have essentially 1200 hp. more than enough for most situations.

Except bloodspike. I have shepards and judges. I switch depending on how I want to look that day. unless the metagame really changes, it's a crapshoot. Last season I went judge's all the way though. Just no superior runes ok(other than vigor)?

bloodspike is pretty much finished in gvg. granted, people say the same for sb/ri, but it still runs pretty well.

With the insignias & inscriptions this is what i use :
Head & Chest : Judges
Rest : Sheppards
Weapons :
#1 : 20/10 staff +5 +30
#2 : 20/5^50 wand; 20/+30 focus (depends what i'm playing)
#3 : -5/+30 axe; +30/+10 vs slashing/physical shield
#4 : +5/+30 axe; +30/+10 vs slashing/physical shield (this is what i use mostly)
With dark escape on, it's basically unkillable :P

I'd go with the extra hp all the way...

600< hp is the way to go with around 50 energy.

as for the runes...I use a major divine rune, cause i can't really imagine a boon with 13/14 only in divine favour t.t...

also, +5 energy and +30 hp weapons>>>wands

Switching to Major rune will give you 1 extra divine favor point. Ever calculated the extra heal you do with 1 point of divine favor.. I wasn't that impressed and rather had the +35 health tbh (and +vitae?). But thats more preferences.

wow rezzed post but its a good question.

I play a mo/a most of the time

I use
Spear and shield set with +30 health on both - energy on both
Wand and Focus with +30 health on focus and +5 energy>50 on wand.
Then all sorts of spear and shield combo's with +armour against certain attack types.
Lastly a +15 +15 energy set for that rare occurance of real emergancy
and a weapon set that gives me health when hexed.

Armour
Minor runes of DF and prot
2x runes of vitae
Armour set with +health

This leaves me with 650 health at most times on the spear+shield combo's.. this makes it incredibly hard at spiking me

Now I can't armour swap the extra health is really important to me, the only choice i'd make is to change the rune on df but frankly the return on atts isn't good enough for the loss of health.

You see I base it on the fact I have 1300 health under dark escape +/or incoming...

All the weapons are obviously versus the differing teams out there

YOU DO NOT NEED +ENERGY ON ARMOUR.. sry lads but if that extra energy matters even when you can weapon swap then something is going wrong with your energy management.. lets put it this way.. I usually operate at 27 energy... I hide my surplus energy with weap swaps... most of the time though I just sit on 27 energy and work with that and I'm quite succesful with it
