you should blame iway haters, which are like almost all of the gw population, for locked iway threads. they pile up all their whines, hate bout the build in a wholesome thread till it gets taken over and locked down.

im just not gonna comment it, theres no point. every build loses and wins at some point, also HA is full of noobs (heroway, anyone?) - you can probably farm fame with any sort of human group as long as people got a clue what to do. for me, however, IWAY remains pretty weak and easy to beat with most builds i play. but then, its really random anyways - you cant judge a build, just the players using it.

and omg, why do so many people complain about IWAY? does it beat the hell out of you or why are you moaning like mad? if you know counters, good, run them and refrain from flaming builds. my god :|

I'm not trying to be rude, but I have no idea what you are saying and why you quoted my post. NO one said IWAY was the only fame farming build. I wasn't flaming IWAY, on the contrary, I miss the fact that you had to bring IWAY counters while running a holding build, which would decrease the amount of utility you could have on an altar. Also, a decent OoA IWAY kicked teams out of halls if they knew what they were doing.
Now it is simply defensive holding team vs defensive team vs defensive team and people can go on lame holding streaks with overpowered and unbalanced characters.

Thumpers, takes just 1 necro with spiteful/ price +spirit of failure. pwned.

Cant stop myself from bashing you, it's so easy to have a build that counter another build, but it's hard to have a build that counter most builds and can get u to hall and hold.

and adrenaline is not a counter for edenial, becoz 90% of the mesmers wont edenial you warrior lol. they work on casters especially monks, and there's no adren-based healing skill.

yeah lol i cant believe people still say that you need ward against elements. Guys that ward sucks and you shouldnt be balling in it at all. You will take much more damage if you all ball in the ward than if you spread out and interupt key skills.

My apologies but my quoting of your post was not meant as a flame towards you. I bolded a specific part because other people have flamed IWAY in this post because it has the stigma of being a "fame farming" build, and because there is a real lack of competition in HA isn't that pretty much what the paragon holding build would be doing? Just fame farming off stupid AI teams. I'm not against the paragon build, IWAY, w/e you want to run, because in the end the game is about having fun. It's just boring seeing someone mention IWAY (such as the OP) and not too long after flaming starts.

Here's the difference.
Iway is an easy to play build which gets pwnt by good teams, and only beats newbie groups or good teams on a fluke.
Paragon-thumper is an easy to play build that beats almost everything. The searing flames idiots choose to get beat by it and give them the fame willingly.

In HA right now, searing flames is the iway, and gon-thumper is the anti-iway.

News for you, bloodspike was even more noobish than iway and seven monkeys and a caller can hold with it. People bash bloodspike but you dont see the bloodspike noobs spending their whole day defending it like it was their pride and joy.

And btw, I did rape your iway team EVERY time I played you. You're my bitch so learn some respect for your superiors. I think you joined my balance team once but said you couldnt play anything but a trapper and necro lol. Youre an iway noob, iway whoure, iway scrub, pick one. you got your fame from IWAY therfore you can not argue when they said they beat you because its quite obvious that IWAY gets beat by just about anything

also I laughed my friggin ass off when I was watching a couple of players talking about you in the American districts saying you were a good player
