Default Heavy Melee Pressure build

I apologize in advance for the fact that half of the skill images don't load properly. I think something's wrong with GWGuru's skill icons database. Either hover over the skills to determine what they are or, failing that, click on the blank icon to be transported to the skill's Guildwiki page.

One interesting fact I know is about a rather little-used skill- Dark Fury. This skill looks horrible, as while it doubles adrenaline gain in the style and cost of an Order, its description says that you must be "nearby," making it apparently suicidal and inconvenient to use it. Interestingly, GuildWiki has recorded that this skill description is an anomaly- it has RADAR RANGE, just like all the other Orders. This makes it much more powerful. I have designed a new build that heavily revolves around this skill and Focused Anger.

Furious Orders Necro- This will simply be the GuildWiki IWAY Orders necro with Dark Fury thrown in and Healing Hands exchanged for Light of Deliverance, which I consider to be more suitable for a character that likes hiding on the edge of the radar.

N/Mo
10+1+3 Blood Magic
8+1 Soul Reaping
12 Healing Prayers
2 Protection Prayers
[skill]Order of Pain[/skill][skill]Dark Fury[/skill][skill]Heal Party[/skill][skill]Light of Deliverance[/skill][skill]Infuse Health[/skill][skill]Heal Area[/skill][skill]Extinguish[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

The Furious Eyegon- a build of my own devising, revolving around "Go for the Eyes!" spam, fueled by the combination of Focused Anger and Dark Fury. Spear Mastery is not needed, since the main point of this build is to spam "Go for the Eyes!" and other powerful shouts. Remedy Signet is simply used to remove Blindness and other annoying conditions. "They're on Fire!" also synergizes well with Blazing Finale on the P/W's to give constant, heavy damage reduction.

P/X
12+1 Leadership
12+1+3 Command
[skill]"Go for the Eyes!"[/skill][skill]"Never Surrender!"[/skill][skill]"They're on Fire!"[/skill][skill]Godspeed[/skill][skill]Aggressive Refrain[/skill][skill]Focused Anger[/skill][skill]Remedy Signet[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

And now, for the actual warriors of this build.

Epitome of Fury
P/W
12+1+2 Leadership
12 Axe Mastery
[skill]Dismember[/skill][skill]Executioner's Strike[/skill][skill]Axe Rake[/skill][skill]Blazing Finale[/skill][skill]Aggressive Refrain[/skill][skill]Focused Anger[/skill][skill]Remedy Signet[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

With "Go for the Eyes!" ending left and right, a self-casted Blazing Finale will make their enemies feel as if they've stepped next to a Burning Titan. It also covers every single condition this character applies with Burning, making it annoying to remove the nastier Deep Wound or Crippled. With 15 Leadership, Focused Anger will give them +150% adrenaline, or 250% total adrenaline gained. With Dark Fury, this comes out to a total of 5 strikes of adrenaline per hit. This makes their attack chain run something like this: Hit-Dis-Exe-Rake-Dis-Exe-Rake-Dis-Exe-Rake . . . repeat ad infinitum. The only tricky part is overcoming the original cost of 35 energy for Aggressive Refrain+Focused Anger, which could be done with a +5 energy weapon switch, or greatly reduced by Energizing Wind+Quickening Zephyr on a Spirit Spammer ranger character. EW+QZ would also allow the characters to keep Focused Anger up constantly. If the +5 energy weapon switch is used, I would recommend starting off with a Zealous weapon to to quickly get your energy above 0 so that you can use Blazing Finale. Alternatively, Leader's Zeal could replace Remedy Signet to allow them to regain some energy in the beginning. Critical Chop could also replace Axe Rake to speed up their mini-spikes, but as they have no other speed boost than Godspeed, I think that Axe Rake is rather necessary.

An IWAY-style Order of Apostasy necromancer could also be used, as well as the alluded-to Spirit Spam ranger. Four paragon/warriors, two necros, the paragon, and a Spirit Spam ranger seems about right, although this precludes the build's use in the current Hero's Ascent. Possibly three warriors, the OoP necro, paragon, and a spirit spam ranger would work, but this loses Order of Apostasy, an important spell for HA. If you do put up Nature's Renewal, I would advise against the Orders necro attempting to maintain Order of Pain, as it would simply take far too long to cast. Dark Fury is more important to the explosiveness of this build.

Note that the typical mass condition counters- Martyr or Extinguish- are not as effective as they might be. Extinguish becomes a glorified Heal Party with a much longer recharge, and if Martyr is used, all conditions will be reapplied within one cycle of the warriors' attack chain. Restore Conditions is much more threatening, as it becomes a heal for 210 health (15 prot prayers= 70hp x burning, deep wound, cripple) for only 5 energy, and 2 second recharge. Beating down the RC monk would be a high priority, as he cannot use RC on himself.

There you have it. While this build may not use IWAY or pets, its style is similar- partywide melee buffs with heavy warrior pressure, and no monks but the Orders necromancers. Also note that any counter-arguments, such as anti-melee hexes and wards also apply to IWAY.

This build could also be used in the Factions elite missions by adding several monks and some more P/Ws, as well as making some changes to the other builds to account for the fact that it's PvE, not PvP. The offence you could produce with six P/Ws would be truly terrifying!

I've been testing a similar P/W build but as a tactics Fear Me! spammer.

Axe - 12
Leadership - 9+1+2
Tactics - 9 (means you meet the req. for a tactics shield)

Dismember
Critical Chop
Fear Me!
Watch Yourself!
Agressive Refrain
Focused Anger [E]
{Optional}
Rez

I'm pretty sure you can spam Fear Me! more with this build than with the Steady Stance/Drunken Blow build. This would work well in a team build with a Charge! spamming warrior.

You could also go hammer if you dropped Fear Me! and go with Staggering Blow > Heavy Blow > Crushing Blow maybe.
