Ha is the problem. Not paragons, not heroes, not players, not rank or rank elitists, just HA.
It is a broken arena that promotes broken and unbalanced builds, and often players without skill can beat better players due to the nature of the arena. It rewards flukes.
It's that simple, and unless some drastic changes (or roll-backs) are taken into consideration, then it will remain a scrub-fest.
Do you agree Juniordash?

the problem is that you're taking HA seriously.

So HA should remain a scrub-fest? alright, if that is what anet want to transform HA into, all the power to them.

You wouldn't believe it dude. No more stressful situations and losing nerves cause of noobs. No more hitting my head into the wall after hearing things on vent such as:"Blind! Blind! Can't heal!"

Were you attempting to make a joke? Or do you seriously think GWO > Guru in terms of PvP information?

Alot take it seriously because people, like me, want rank so they can get into high level pvp.

EDIT - Also i dont see how u find heroes a larger problem then paragons. The meta in ha is basicly paragon holding builds. Heroways dont stand a chance to it and people have to roll to win when matched vs other builds like this. How about this. My group i made which was a r4+ got to dark chambers with Germanys Next Top Guild (Or w/e there name is), who are r9+ i believe, and it was a total stand still. I mean absolutley no one was taking a death either way. Eventually a new build cam in during the match so my group would rather leave then stay here anyway. So half the team(divert and 2 rao) leave. And we were still at a standstill. IMO that is overpowered.

IMO they basically need to take heroes out of HA altogether and then make drastic changes to the maps. I think that almost everyone HA maps are a joke and are a big part of why people don't consider HA that competitive. I say that ANet tried, but just go back, delete all those maps, and do a total reroll of them. 6v6 is even okay as long as the maps and heroes die the horrible deaths that they deserve.

Hehe.... juniordash...

So...how are heroes bad?
With 2 people and 4 heroes I have yet to lose a match on a straight fight map.

Putting Melonni in your party = easy fame for you

i personally think Heroway is a great way for people without r3+ to get used to the maps without the add in of noobs that like to rage quit, if people can beat other people without using actual players, then more power to them... however i can see why you guys are complaining about them, i just think some people should actually take HA a little LESS seriously, and actually TRY people that arn't r6+... but then again they could be total dumbasses so i guess it all comes down to experiences with/against hero partys

the problem is is that ha is pvp. is a hero a person? last time i checked, there run by ai. gw is supposed to be Massively multiplayer, but with heros you take out the multiplayer part. then what you have is massive singleplayer. heroway is just a "look but dont invite into group" build. the only reason people like it is beacuse you know for sure that the people you are playing with arent mending whammos and other pve ragequitting noobs. but as you advance in rank with heroway, you wil be able to join ranked groups which (most of the time) arent noobs because they have experience playing ha (or atleast ebaying).

yea but its up to the players if they want to run heroes or not. the heroes are just options you can use.

you want a heroless HA? don't use heroes and discourage hero users by beating them all the time.
