Yeah, agaisnt any hex build, Divert works perfectly, but it is also a risk to choose it. Because again heavy-melee pressure or condition pressure, that skill is almost useless, and you can only use RoF, GoH and SoD to heal.
Choosing elite skills now depends on your build and the metagame, it is interesting. Not "almost everyone run Boon or BLight" as before.

In regards to Divert, it's much more viable on a Mesmer (replacing Expel) who doesn't really need their Elite to play a Domination Mesmer effectively. I still prefer Expel, however, it's a lot easier on the attributes.

So you can use this even without a pet?

I don't see why you would want to do that though, the DPS from your pet under Rampage As One is quite considerable.

Ran divert for the one match we played last night. It was a hex build. We raped. It was absolutely insane hex removal. It is a liability if you ever have to split your monks, but in builds that take that into account, it is a valid choice. I don't like it on mesmers because for it to be useful you have to invest in prot...and it is 10 energy compared to an expel at 5.

id like to make a statement about shadow meld. Lets say ur a sin right. U can gank and such thats all good. Now at the begining of the match u use shadow meld on lord and grab flag. use dark escape/dash/w/e run skill u could fit into ur build to get to flag. Cancel shadow meld after u open door to base (if there is a door with lever that is) Ur basicly at flag again.

Now thats all fine and dandy to some of u and now some are saying how could i use this with combat? No door bases are where this shines. U have someone accompany u to other persons base (maybe another shadow meld?) and u use shadow meld on person. U start ganking until people come back to there hall and u run. There like cool we got him out. Get into battle with ur group cancel enchant. Ur in there base again.

Edit - Can use it to get away by cancelin i suppose but its not as efficient this as aura of displacement.

You realise that you can't Shadow Step past your radar range? As in, the furthest you'll shadowstep is to the edge of your radar. Otherwise people would be using things like Shadow Of Haste much more effectively.

You also cannot shadow step through gates, unless they are open when you shadow step.

Corrupt enchantment is also good in any hex team. Heavy degen for only 10 energy plus the chance to remove an enchantment? Yes please!

Price of pride at high domination in a hex team. So much better than sig humility imo

Not really since it was nerfed. Shame is a significantly better skill now. It depends on the style of hex team. Sig of humil spam is a really nice option since most hex removal is put in elites nowadays, but it is hard to fit into a hex build. It is easier to revert to more strait forward forms of caster hate.

Light of deliverance isn't a bad skill, builds made around it are bad builds. If you are using Light of Deliverance, that normally means you want to ditch the elmo with ether prod for something more offensive. So your only heal party is only on a monk now. Unlike an ele, a monk can't go hide in the far backline when he needs to catch up on heal parties. Even though it is a one second cast, it is very predictable when spamming and is very liable to shut down.
