If Bill wasn't married, I would think he was flirting. I'm most likely not playing in tourney, Bill. Unless they absolutely need me. I'm wrapping up the last tidbits to my nursing degree, and as XoO knows all too well: RL > GW. There are other players on our team who very much want to participate, while I'm rather ambivalent over it. Unlike other players, I've done nearly everything in GW that I've ever wanted to do. If the others desire to play more than I, I can be gracious enough to allow them that.

Otherwords, eF and ICE are very good teams that will be at the top of the tourny. They aren't eurospike nublets.
I may be wrong about eF, but I think I recall seeing them play spike if I am not mistaken pre energizing finale nerf. ICE is eruospike unless they have also changed after the energizing finale nerf.

Hopefully it will come down to eF vs. QQ, that would be amazing to watch.

Both teams have extremely talented players, and it's pretty safe to assume that they won't lame it up with Eurospike.

Just because iQ doesn't play as much on the ladder, that doesn't mean they aren't testing builds in scrimmages and watching observer mode to get a good handle on their opposition (ummm, I'd hope, lol).

20 bucks says iQ runs a physical heavy build, possibly with ebon dust aura.

I'm a huge fan of iQ. They have some really brilliant and inventive players, but it seems as if this season something has been missing. I have seen them on obs a couple of times, and was even lucky enough to play against them once, and while it is true to say that they won all these games, it felt like it was quite a bit of a struggle considering the level of opposition they were facing in these games.

Maybe I just saw them on an off day, idk.

As for the EU/US split, it has always been the case before that American guilds had a much higher percentage of teams at the top of the ladder than you would expect. This season has been the weakest performance ever from the US guilds as a whole with a huge powershift towards the EU teams.

WHo will win? I don't know, its a strange format.

In my opinion WM, eF and QQ are best guilds atm. They are at very high level about players skills, builds and tactics ( EvIL doesn't have core team anymore, Te has some problems with activities I think). But iQ in playoff always play smartest and is really a "play to win" guild.

So in this playoff, IF every guild plays seriously with their best members, it will be hard to see who is the winner between iQ, eF and QQ. But I doubt people will have enough motivation to play at their best in the playoff because this is just a "fun" season. That's why this playoff is very hard to predict a winner. Every guild has a chance to win this.

if dT lsot to bloodspike btw thats was cause they were surprised to see it and that their fastest heal is a GoH which doesnt help much against that bloodspike, unless you can respond whitin 0.25 seconds because the afterspike has a cast time of 1 second.

But who will win in the playoffs i have no idea. I expect that iQ ICE PnH and dT will end high for the rest dont really know WoW might cause a little surprise.

Apparently, iQ isn't playing this playoff season. A shame, I'd have liked to see what they could do.

They posted on TGH about it. Too many scheduling conflicts, and not enough of their members were able to make it. It's a real bummer, I would have loved to see them.

Quite a few guilds in the top 32 will not be sending in rosters, so it will go lower than that. NUKE's sent in a roster and I think we'll get in, but not sure who else will do the same.

I highly doubt ICE will be in the top four. That aside, QQ vs iQ sounds pretty believeable. eF will definately be in there high up, i just dont know how well iQ will do as they didnt play much this season. also some high expectations for tag, i know theres at least one [Fish] monk in that guild.

QQ gets gold capes then. They deserve it, if only because Tommy is in the guild.

Ever heard of Aftercast?

http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Aftercast

The average human reaction time is .2s, by the way.

Also, why would anyone be supprised to see blood spike? There were plenty of dedicated Blood Spike guilds out and farming this season...

HMm im pretty sure my reaction speed in GW is close to that maybe in real life but not on a screen.
And the first time [Shiv] got in the top whit bloodspike it was a surprise and btw i assumed they lsot then to a bloodspike and not after it. After that yeah you could expect to face bloodspike so if you know the whole season then you could take that into account aswell.

Btw i didn't knew exact after cast times i thought it was like 0.3 seconds or something not 0.75
I was thinking around 0.3~0.5 seconds.

I think QQ will win it, I like how they've pretty much ran anything this season and finished as one of the top teams. I think there is a big difference between them and most the other guilds in it. And I think they deserve to win it really.

eF, ICE, Ace, PnH, WoW are other guilds I'd like to do well since I think they are genuinely good.

For anyone who doesn't feel like taking the time out to look at which guilds dropped out of the tournament, it was iQ, FS, BRB, and BoAs.

iQ had scheduling problems, so they couldn't get the right 8 members together. I believe FS didn't have an eligible roster. BRB is a pug guild. I have no idea who BoAs is.
