Ok I've let some time go by to give other people chances to ask some questions. So now here's another from me.

1) Will we ever get descent Guild Halls? See question #2 and the following for clarification of what I mean by this.

Don't get me wrong, currently the Guild Halls are beautiful, however they are more like mission maps than Guild Halls. I know that is due to GvG, however so many other games have Guild Halls that are insanely better than what we have here.

Considering the game is called Guild Wars, I think that is pretty sad.

What we need is some type of area that is actually customizable. This way every guild hall doesn't look exactly the same, depending on the skin chosen, with only a variable number of NPC traders, depending on how wealthy the guild is.


2) Will our Guild Halls ever be customizable so we actually care about our Guild Halls and they actually serve some purpose outside of traders and GvG battles?

Currently I only ever use my guildhall either as a thoroughfare or as a means of entering Alliance Battles. And I don't do the latter now as it usually takes 30 mins to enter one game.

3) Will we ever get an area accessible within the Guild Halls that only Guild Members can get to, that we can add things like furniture, trophies, pets, paintings, bulletin boards, or other aesthetic furnishings?

If this were implemented, it could go hand in hand with another way for drawing people into PVP, as you could have PVP rewards, which would be items that you could add to your guildhall, or options for your guildhall.

I would have this mostly for PVP, as this would give a good solid reason for PVErs to participate in PVP. If they want to better their guildhalls, they have to PVP. Though I would also say that you should add one Guild Hall prize to the end of each game, and at the end of each Elite mission. That way it would also encourage PVPers to PVE.

4) Will there ever be prizes at the end of chapters and elite missions that could be added to a customizable area within guildhalls?

1) Will there ever be any more varience in guild Battle, yeah guild battles are fun and challenging and there are a few different guild halls but the game play on them are virtually the same, - run to flag, capture flag, kill enemy team, take out some base defence, kill enemy team, kill more base defense, kill enemy team, kill guild lord. The are only a very small handful of special mechanics in th guild battles and most of them are identical, ie, Wizards, Warriors and Hunters Isle its all just asthetics theres no gameplay variences.

2) Will there be more Fort Aspenwood/Jade Quarry style PvP ? Jade Quarry is very quiet and not very popular but its ok for a change, Aspenwood is great fun its kinda like a larger scale version of a guild battle (aside from there being no defencive side hall), could there not be an even larger version that has more players but both sides can attack and defend?

3) Afkers. Will anything ever be done to stop faction leechers? i know technically they break no rules but they severly ruin the fun of alot of people. A large reduction of Afkers would increase some of the PvPers, eg Aspenwood, Jade Quarry and any of the other randomised Arenas since as they are now people are discouraged do to the amount of afkers/bot afkers (Bots that only use is to press enter mission so afkers dont need to do it themselves)

4)Guild Hall customisation would be nice too, perhaps a new ability to use a Celestinal Vigil to upgrade your hall, eg. Uses it to change Acids traps on halls to other types of trap, and add banners, upgrading npcs skill sets etc. ofc any upgrades work for both home and away sides (so its not made unfair to the away side). This would increase the demand for Vigils, raising there price and promoting more HA PvP to earn them. guilld halls in general would benefit very much from this both in and out of battles.

Although a big fan of all pvp im worried about the decrease of the number of people who attempt to play other kinds then gvg and hoh. I think that is caused by lack of rewards or motivation- hoh gives you faction as well as items. Alliance battles used to be popular but now have gone down the drain, as usually it takes 20 minutes for enough opponents to join to actually get in- What can we do to make people want to play AB again, and other forms of pvp? IMO adding titles for balth faction is a great idea- also adding special perks for victories in TA and RA, like 10 (maybe flawless) in a row gets you a gold item, 20, 2 gold items, just something that, a little perk that would make people want to play these great forms of pvp more. As for alliance battles-they used to be the "it" thing, perhaps being able to unlock special armor for luxons and kurzicks based on faction gained would help alot- like at rank 2 a new armor set is available at rank 3 a weapon- bottom line people like little treats- ill leave it at that

Until you can eliminate the other 8 allies to your team and replace them with good players, and make meaningful rewards (hero battles have cash prizes wtf?) there's going to be a lack of player quality there.

1. Will we ever get better looking armors/weapons for PvP?
2. Will there ever be $ rewards in PvP (sigils don't count anymore).
3. Why did you change HA to 6v6 ?

1.Upgrade titles
For friend of the kurzick there should be extra +5000 kurzick storage
Some kind of emote (like crown spawns on your head when you have kind of a big deal)

2.Upgrade templates
When you save template in PVP (equipment) there is saved only ONE weapon slot, this is bad, because there should be saved 4 slots. This makes unnecessary time with crafting pvp equipment

3.Upgrade Guild Hall NPC
We need new NPCs, like professional changer, universal NPCs for each chapter that exchange all quest item rewars for stuf. (ect trade contracts, Battle Commendations, Monastery Credits,..), hat maker, guild emblem maker, and so on, Guild Hall shod become some universal "base" for your guild not that its just only there and only made for GvG.

4.Upgrade Observe Mode
The most problem is that when someone plays scirmage its automaticly overwrites the last observes mode. I think this should be separated so there should be two guild observes or just delete scirmage overwriting mode, or make somekind npc who stores guild battles, that can be viewed. Like 5 guild observe mdoes saves, so guild can later easy analise them and check for mistakes and improve.

5. Upgrade Guild Hall
Could be possible to play scrimage on other guild halls, other that you dont own, because there is no way that you can learn strategy and other stuff from different guild halls only as changing guild hall or in the match itself. You could at least for scirmage choose different guild halls by buying them with celestrial sigils, so they became awalible .

6.Upgrade Alliances
The Alliance is dead end, there should be some other new stuffs and when you see alliance, there should say for each alliance how many people there is in guild, how many people are online in that guild and so on, so you know if guild in alliance is dead or not.

7.Upgrade Guild Structure
To have more than Officers and Members (like generals another group), to have more than one leader, to have sub leaders, enlarge guild announcement max chars.

8.Upgrade Alliance Battles
Can you please make 12 VS 12 alliance battles, so all guild members can go in and play versus other guild or team. This should be among 4,4,4 v 4,4,4 AB mode.

9. New PvP mode
People in guild often say that in every chapter there is NOTHING really new into the PvP mode. So people are leaving guild wars and they dont buy new chapters, because the only new this that was in PvP was Alliance Battle, which made people disappointed because there was no "guild versus guild" AB battles

10. Lisen to PvP Alpha Testers
Apha testers that i know, they want to make PvP skills more balanced, but they say you don't listen to them.

11. Jumping Between Chapters
Will be Chapter Maps and Battle Isles Map ever Merged? Its really pain in the ass when you must always change districts and so on. Is there possibility so you chose before login with character the location of character where should load, that how you would make less band witch for servers and saved us players precious time with unnecessary changing between maps.

12.Improve Battle Isles - Isle of The Nameless
Will be ever possibility to enter Isle of The Nameless directly from Guild Hall (as from NPC) as would you like to test your build. And will be there ever possible to improve Isle of The Nameless so you could "dress" the "boxing bag" with different armor and test on it how much dmg you do to it and where.

13. Traps!
Pls Repair traps dmg and skill traps skill descriptions, because its all wrong and also one some traps there is no indication of dmg display, so you don't even know if you hit target and don't and how much dmg you did it

Will there ever be a function to alliances other than having a shared talk channel? right now alliances are a pretty dead feature I think. Something like allowing guests in the new GvG form, but they'd have to be from your alliance, or to play organized alliance battles with members of your alliance.

My question:
Why do you not care about the pvp state of your game? You make a pvp game and only fix pve stuff. If you are not willing to fix Guild Wars I am. Let me be in charge of skill balancing and HA changes so the game can actually be fun again. This is a serious offer, please consider. Thanks

1) Will we ever have Alliance-wide rosters, as opposed to only Guild-wide rosters?

2) Are there any plans for expanding what matches you can view in observer mode? Specifically, it would be nice to be able to view ALL of your Guilds recent matches (as opposed to just the last one), as well as be able to view recent matches of other Guilds within your Alliance.

3) Are there any plans for some kind of 1v1 PvP battle (no heros, just 1v1)?

4) Are there any plans for some kind of large-scale, organized PvP battle (12v12+, entire team is one group)?

5) What is planned, if anything, for increasing PvP participation outside of HA and GvG?

Edit:
6) The party search feature was a brilliant idea, but doesnt get much use. This is due in part to the small space allocated for group descriptions. Any plans for expanding the description size?

Will there ever be a Guild War in which it would be battle on a more massive scale like that of Alliance battles?

Will there any new maps added to HA?

My question:

Will we ever have "stand-alone" PvP maps where you can enter in it at any time and with no time limit and (almost) no players limit and where you can join endless battle between players, like in PvP servers in some other MMORPG games?
( I think that I'm not the only one, who is tired of constantly waiting on starting / ending of battle and praying for players who know how to play or seeking good group )

I put this to you and I want this question answered.

Here is the question:

Why are A-net dedicating such a substantial amount of attention to HvH a format of PvP, which people aren't very concerned about. Yet you are ignoring Team Arenas a format of PvP that has a staple following of PvP players and has had many notable petitons of wanting improvement to it from the playerbase community since the very beta of GW itself.

Why are A-net ignoring these pleas from the community and supplementing us with things we didn't ask for or even want?

I find it very convenient that you have spokesmen like Alex Weekes making statements about how you like to listen to the community yet why has the communities pleas on this subject matter fallen on deaf ears?

Please tell me why?

I would love to know

P.S this time don't evade/sidestep my question not unless you are lightweight and can't handle hard hitting questions

I have only one question.


Will it ever be possible to be competitive at the top levels of play with only the most recent one or two expansion packs?


Consider this important for the future of the game, because if the answer is no you can kiss PvP goodbye in a year or two. If new people aren't able to replace the old blood leaking out no matter how well you handle this game it'll be dead before long.

Eoe would be ftl then...

Will there be a new form of pvp, other than TA or AB or GvG/HA?
(HvH isnt pvp imo)

1. May we have all color combinations available for PvP characters?
2. May we have different pet selections for PvP characters? The Elder Wolf is getting old.

4. Will the developers make all existing customized armor inscribable in the near future? (example, those who have obsidian armor)
5. Multiple Monitor - Is it possible to move some GW displays (i.e., compass, party screen, mini map) outside the game window, so it will run on a separate monitor?

Many of these are less PvP related and more Gameplay related as a whole... since billiard only gave me a link to PvP and PvE suggestions, and all i ever do is PvP, and all of these things effect me, here are my suggestions:

1. Party Window for Spawned Allies(like minions and spirits) to make it easier to keep some of them up.

2. With reguards to what Livingston and phasola said(i think its a popular topic): PvP Armor Skin Unlocks, possibly something over the base faction cap so that you would need a pvp title to unlock it

3. Fix on Friends list bug(that horrible dreaded bug)

4. Ability in Interface Modification to move the Internet Status Meter(the colored circle bottom right of the screen)

5. Ability to save more than one weapon set in an Equipment Template
and Possibly a Merge Between the Two Template Systems which wouldnt require you to load one at a time

6. Make Zaishen Challenge and Zaishen Elite only give Faction for one victory per team(not per day)

7. Make a Looking For Group Chat

8. Post an article on their site about all the recent lag(i would like to know whats been going on, and if GW plans to get more servers)

9. Give Billiard the Ability to type in Pink Text ingame that can be viewed by all in his current district

Is TA going to get some additional attention, like Hero Battles, or will it be left without a tournament or ladder of any kind indefinitely?
