But sadly i wont be playing this weekend much, and as you can tell i dont have much "trust" in A-net to make good chanegs because they never have before.

There is going to be that many retards in HA this weekend its not funny. Running lame rankless SF builds even if its nerfed.

How about just nerf skills without telling anyone then let people win hoh and say WTF sf does 10 damage /rage quit

I like 8 man, why can't they just keep it how it was?

Double fame weekend was a joke, VIM FTW (that ryhmes)

I can't believe that people keep whinging and whining about team size when it has little to do with what is wrong with Ha.
Heroes Ascent is meant to be a completely different gamplay to GvG. In HA the idea is to hold the HoH. You cant really change the victory conditions when that is what HA is based around. Holding

Holding Ha through prowess in battle and holding Ha by running an uber defensive build can be two completely different things.

At no point in my post do I refer to GvG, nor any inclination to make Ha any more like GvG.

I was merely saying that what makes Ha less enjoyable for me is the fact that most teams run the same, lame, uber defensive or uber spike builds that make Ha repetitive and dull.

Ha as I understand is supposed to be a collection of battle arenas that test not only your battle prowess but your teams ability to adapt to differing win conditions, where if you are successful you will (as your rightly identify Burt) hold HoH for fame and glory.

But just because HoH has always been king of the hill doesn't mean it has to stay that way. I'm not saying remove all alter maps from Ha, I'm saying make it so that HoH isn't an alter map and this will be a key factor in the type of builds that are conceived for Ha.

Its funny cuz ppl who wanna reach r9 on multiple accounts just grbind thru wutever crap ha goes thru (like me). ill stil provide feedback, nonetheless. although i may wish 8v8 back, i personally want to see holding changed in some way. perhaps in hoh, it could be the person who won last round stays in and 2 teams come, BUT nobody has altar capped so they hafta recap every time. that would diminish the ridiculous holding power that paragon builds have. maybe also change the ghost cap skill to require 0 energy? more ideas as i try this weekend out.

You're a little late paragon holding builds were nerfed ages ago.

8v8 (or 10v10/12v12? :O) you just nerf the iway builds anyway, as for the counterbuilds...

There is no such thing as 'balanced' when there's too few people in a team to balance it

Relic runs are the only tactically challenging maps in HA, provided both teams have foes and gale. Then it gets interesting. No need to hate them because you lost to TaSH last night :P << Joke btw

Whats the purpose of changing the way a team wins in the Hall Of Heroes? Seriously, I don't know why you wasted your time with it.
We have to play slaughter on Underworld and Scarred Earth, and Dark Chambers
We have to play relics on Unholy Templs and Sacred Temples
And we have to cap altars on Broken Tower and Courtyard
So why change the function of Hall Of heroes to something we had to do to get there in the first place?
My suggestion is to have a retro weekend where you bring back 8v8 and the old map functions, such as Burial Mounds and 10 minute timers. There is a special weekend for everything for testing and PvE items, but can we just go back in time sometime and let the older players have a weekend of fun?
I loved the old days where I could play a 45 minute match against Brehon on Scarred Earth.
I prefer a slower paced Hall of Heroes, its getting too fast paced, too puggish, and way too much like Team Arenas and Random Arenas.
The solution is to go slower and backwards, not forward and faster.
