Default I was bored..

..so I made a build. I figured why not, it would be fun to make a slightly unconventional balanced build. It SHOULD be defensive against the current metagame and still have both the ability to pressure and spike, but hey, that's just me. Also, I like making peoples' jaws drop in disgust. If you notice any glaring errors, have any intelligent questions or comments, or would like to completely redo one of the character builds to better do its job, I won't mock you. Not even a little.

tbh i don't think the paragon build is worth it, you use 2 echo's, and one of those is realy energyheavy (aggressive refrain). Echo's are awesome in shoutheavy builds, but i don't think you'll be able to keep it up long enough with only 2 shouts and 1 chant

You essentially never have to renew aggressive refrain. As in, you're always in range of your own GFTEs and Godspeeds. If you accidentally get out of range of a monk and let bladeturn slip after a few minutes, it is true that you may have to spend a whole 'nother 5 energy to halve the damage dealt by scythes and swords, but I'm very cool with that.

What, no sudden repudiation of my one deep wound, my awesome-though-you-don't-know-it runner, or Crippling Sweep? I think people are asleep at the switch

As soon as your opponent sees Bladeturn Refrain, their warriors will switch to their elemental weapons and make it useless.

are you sure that bladeturn refrain will be useless againist elemental weapon damage? Wouldn't it just be turned into slashing elemental damage? I'm not really sure about this but I'm thinking it like the same way about how absorption rune only protect from physical attacks but if an elemental weapon starts to hit you it protect you anyway because those are attacks and evenwhen they are not doing physical damage?

Unless you drop off some attack skills it won't serve the role I want it to. And although rush rather than executioners' might work, or perhaps enraging charge rather than critical, I rather like them.

IAS is just plain not a priority over thing like KDs the way that build is set up, but sticking an energy skill rather than critical chop might work out since it's nerfed-ish now...

Since there's no cancel, really, almost all warrior IAS is out, so how about enraging charge? That might work well. Still, with the wholescale skill rebalance this build is now

DEAD DAVE EVERYBODY'S DEAD EVERYBODY IS DEAD DAVE.

Ah well, I've got another

Decent build had it not been owned by the update.
