im currently using +29HP on my caster weapon, its almost the same as 30HP but with 559 health you only take 55 dmg when prot spirit is up.

You only want +20% enchant over +30hp/+5AL if your monk build is highly dependent on prot enchants like shielding hands, soa, protspirit, shield of deflection, etc. Otherwise its not worth it imo.

Makkert, this will remain an excellent guide for the length of Guild Wars I have no doubt, but any chance you could throw in a disclaimer near the beginning about the context of the meta in which it was written? Particularly you have an entire section dedicated to secondary profession energy management skills and make numerous examples using the boon prot, while I haven't seen either of these used in competitive play in months. Making such meta-dependant examples dates the article. Don't get me wrong, I wish EVERYONE who wants to monk competitively in Guild Wars would read this... I can just picture some poor soul trying to run the Edrain Boon Prot build in the article and going "wtf this sucks".

ok. I'll add a disclaimer with 'don't try this at home kids' tomorrow to make it more idiotproof.

Even on the moment of writing, the boon-prot was outdated. It's of course the underlying decisions that mattered here; the boon-prot was only used as an example. You understand this, and I haven't had a single PM of someone who actually took this write-up as buildadvise. But one can never be sure enough, I'll add it.
