I don't believe HA players are any worse (or any better) than the average player in any other PvP format -- including GvG, TA/RA, AB, or HvH. In fact I think pretty much every PvPer plays pretty much every format. I think map design and map design only drives the differences in the metagames of GvG/HA/etc. This is why I think 6v6 is best for HA given the spike friendly maps and objectives of HA.

thats what i meant...

Most of the time a good spike goes through though, you shouldn't rely on your infuser to do all the work, your infuser is going to have a really hard time if the spike is never pre-protted/ disrupted.

I did have higher hopes for the turnout for 8v8 after the initial weekend. The popularity of spike teams may have been partially to blame. I am curious to see what a next round of skill balancing has to offer the meta and have hopes that balanced will be given a bit more time in 8v8 to adapt.
