8v8... along with almost everyone that has posted in this thread. Even if IWAY does come back with it, I'll welcome it with open arms.

6v6 is more versatile.
With 8v8 you have more gimmick builds.
Iway wont come back, the new iway or whatever it's called would probably pawn the old iway, even in 6v8, so GG.
If HA goes back to 8v8 i will uninstall gw again. Maybe if they change the maps in tombs, and also chage the objectives on the maps I will consider playing the game.
The old 8v8 is much to boring after a while.

I dont know whats your HA experience, and how did you made that statement, but its compleatly false. Simple math dictates that when you have 8 slots , you have much more combinations to experiment with, and much more possibilities to counter every possible thread you encounter. 6v6 meta is rock/paper/scissors, 8v8 meta is player skill.

Gimmicks? All I see thats played now it jagged bones, spirit spam, sandstorm ball, immortal searing flames and a new form of iway. Wow, thats awesome build quality.

Imagine the new balanced builds that will be done when party size will be back to Guild Wars default ( skills are balanced in 8v8 environement ). Cant wait to play again.

Experienced, oldschool HA community as well as good new players wants 8v8 back. We had some time with 6v6 only to see that it caused massive decline in HA player skill and build versality due to exodus of good players out of the game or to gvg. Number of districts, and dead silence in chat of those tells it all.

When anet will listen to our request, I know that many good players will come back there, and with some love ( new maps, good skill balance ), the arena will be more alive than ever.

where can you find same skills being used by the same class, 6vs6 or 8vs8? now that you've answered that, please read carefully the Combination With Repetition and Combination Without Repetition?

and after reading that, also read this

Bloodspike, Rangerspike, Obs spike can be played in 6v6, so 8v8 wont make much of a difference there

Christ, you speak of these as if they are the devil.
These 6 builds you listed are by far more fun to play against than Jagged Way, sandstorm-way (whatever the hell you call it), etc.
Plus, in 8v8 you will be able to succesfully counter all these builds (like most people used to pre-6v6) and not be at such a great disadvantage because you chose RC over divert.

Also, there are many more old and new builds other than those you listed that will make it back into HA, and among these many different variations of balanced builds because the metagame will be as unstable as ever.

8v8, and/or some changes to bring in more player skill and less reliance on wiki builds.

They won't change it back to 8v8. No matter how much people want 8v8 back, they won't change it. Ask some alphas, they'll tell you.

So what is Anet doing?

"Oh, look! Everyone wants 8v8 to be back! Let's totally ignore the PvP'rs and ask those PvE'rs what they want. 6v6? OOOKAY!!! 6v6 it is!!!"
