You can unleash adrenal attacks constantly, but with no knockdown there are very few opportunities to use Frenzy or actually force kills. You end up with a character that hits a lot of people down to 80%, but never actually gets in a position to force kills.
Have you ever tried Harrier's Grasp instead of Prot Strike on a Dragon Slash bar??? It's not quite as strong after the nerf, but still way more DPS than any other melee character I've been able to come up with.

I don't know about you but I can get my Sever-Gash-Final in just fine.

Yes, but that's because you're a Flamingo. Freaking long appendages you got there.

I like to run Bull's Strike on a Dragon Slash (over ptor strike). It solves a big part of the kiting problem. You give up a part of your spiking ability, but that wasn't amazing to begin with, so I don't really see that as a problem.

I can't really say anything that hasn't been covered by someone else, but I agree with Bulls Charge. It doesn't rape anyone on its own, because if that someone is a monk then the DPS of a warrior not under IAS that can't use any skills just shouldn't be a problem. If its not a monk then in a split assumingly they at least have a self-heal/dodge/condition shutdown/snare and the same should apply.

However, once teammates start getting introduced into the equation it becomes a much bigger problem, since their damage can make up for the fact you're locked into a BC (which then begins to contribute in the form of decent lock-down).

That's mainly where it differs from TA, since there it's a 4-man team (at least 1 a monk), so there you ARE the offence, and locking yourself into a 9/10s period of no IAS, no sever+gash+final/S&M (assuming you're going for maximum duration) is often, basically, rubbish. If BC is useful for anything in TA (in my own experience) it's for one or two misc. KD's before spiking someone down. However, I don't need BC [e] to do that when I've got Bull's strike and shock on an Evis/exec bar (as an example).

That doesn't mean BC doesn't have its flaws. I've met a fair number of monks and a few midliners that could strafe around BC KD and still play their role effectively, but to be honest they're a minority.

Grasping earth has the potential to be very effective on a dragon slasher.

I don't see why chaining Bull's Charge into Frenzy is a good play. After getting hit by a Bull's Charge guy, the first thought on anyone's mind is to move away as soon as the Bull's Charge ends. Once you hit Frenzy and start unleashing adrenal attacks they'll be kiting immediately, and since you're stuck in Frenzy you won't be able to give chase and finish your 3-hit combo.. The end result is you, stuck in Frenzy, with half an adrenal combo left.
No, they'll actually be on their ass after a Bull's Charge KD - and you can very much get off a Gash + Final - Hell, even a Sever-Gash-Final should their initial reaction be to cast and not run the hell away.
