A few comments.
Not that I play that much PvP or such, but the comments around here that triggered me to post a bit was in regards to wiki and observer mode.
Eventhough articles and builds on wiki once they are posted are sorta outdated you still can learn from them, which in my book is part of it all.
Same goes for observer mode even for a newbie into PvP.
Fact is, if the character you watch dies fast, you can learn what not to do.
You can learn, what you encounter and learn to adapt.

PvP in essense is to survive based on counters, not much on attacks but on preventing attacks while still being able to deal sufficient damage to get the kill. Thereby relieving the team for the benefit and in the long run, for the final kill.

In essence, even a lousy player with a funny build can teach stuff, whether you should copy it or not depends on it's effect in PvP in general.
