MH 2 : 1 dT
First game we... didn't talk about monk builds, and went in with 2 SoD bars & nothing else vs hexes with dual melandru's. We basically just held on for 20 before resigning out. Not much to say about it.

Game 2, Corrupted Isle vs. Eurosplit. We run NR/Tranq with 2 aggressive refrain paragons, push hard on their back door right away for NPC kills, then stay split for the rest of the match. We rack up a few more NPC kills + some deaths on them, get a monk down during a retreat, after which we just stay balls deep in their base to finish it off. This was definitely the best match of the three, in my opinion. Unforunately, no video of it & of course it was gone from our obs. mode with game 3.

Game 3, they pick Jade Isle & roll a spike build - 1 Shadow Prison war, 3 Mes, Rit with Ancestor's, etc. & 3 monks. Again, we start the match off by rushing their base to get a couple quick NPC kills, but they respond quickly and we only manage the first 2 or 3 archers. We pull out the teleporter, they follow, we decide to try & pressure as they come through, but end up taking a few deaths due to heavy diversion/shame spam on both monks. After that, they turtle in response to our split, and nothing happens until VoD, other than Narc getting spiked out while wanding an archer. At VoD, they decide to push through coral to try and AoE spike our NPCs on our bridge, but pretty much get wiped by coral & NPCs - they take 2 footmen down, and we take a few deaths ourselves, but with constant morale boosts, we're fine. After that, they pull out again in response to our 2-man split at their lord, and wait until lords walk. Once their lord aggroes all of our archers, it's just a matter of time. Most of our damage stays on them, with just 1 warrior & our NPCs DPSing their lord. Even with 3 monks & the rit they can't hold under the pressure & they full wipe at 29 along with their lord who finally falls to our NPCs.
Forgot to say what we ran this match - we basically did grab 8 & go, and ended up with 4 wars, 2 rangers, 2 monks.

It's regrettable, but O B A Q recently lost some of its core members and is under re-organization. (from O B A Q's leader's blog) It was inevitable.

GL with your next pairing/match.

Yeah happened last night. Couldn't field the 8 for the match, and the CT was the only thing keeping us together as a guild.

Just a Minor Threat > Onslaught of Xen, 2-0

Finally, an American opponent. And yet, I can't say much 'cause I wasn't there.

Listen To > Just a Minor Threat, 0-2

A very solid team with great positioning and simply superior gameplay. Led us to rethink the tactics of our own builds.

Good games, too bad they had to go henchway the first match. Easy scheduling and good mail contact as well, which is always a plus

Guards Of The Isles vs Ultio Atrox 2:0

well, we knew what builds they would play but instead of playing counterbuilds or the same ones as them our leader made some strange build decisions -we lost build wars ...

Accident Prone > Just a Minor Threat, 2-0.

We were in bad form, and they weren't. I guess we should have listened to Warskull (especially considering that warskull>metagame). I weep for our lack of bronze trim. Some details here: [Meh] Match Reports

Im guessing Error Seven Call Operators [Call] 2 And Steel Phoenix [StP] 0

We havent been able to get in touch with your tourny leader at all (no name to go by as our Leader is Awol) So doesn't take a genious to figure out we lose and they win. Bit unfortunate as I really wanted to play Call.
