QFT. I won't bother to get into details.

In other news, Black Emperor - Just a Minor Threat: 2-0.

First match we were outbuilt and outplayed against a highly defensive spike on jade isle. Couldn't split, couldn't win. Second match our caller err'd. Very dissappointing overall.

Hey Chilly. I tell you what: grab your head with your right hand, bang it against your monitor screen, slap yourself twice, and maybe now you'll remember that it was YOU that didn't show at the fallback time. Stop spreading lies just to make yourself look hot and "l33t".

I'm the leader of Dudele Dulci... Actually, we requested a draw. Team Fun never showed up for the fallback time, the above being a false information.

First i don't know who you are or if you are a member/ leader of Team Fun.
But this is either a very big misunderstanding on your part, or just plainly a shameless lie.
I do not know where you got this information but i can assure you it is completely false, and we have more than enough proof to prove otherwise.
You were the ones who didn't show up for the fallback time, we were there with a full team ready to go.

Whatever dude our players were on vent and in-game waiting for some kind of sign from you guys as to what was going on. after a few HOURS we gave up and assumed you had forfeigted. now if we were wrong then your tourney leader should have contacted us. your guild was the one that made the mistake of not communicating to us and now you are gonna QQ about it? seems to me like you just need to realize that your tourney leader either shafted you by not delegating the responsibility to someone else or he just completely failed at letting you kids know the deal beforehand. so plz stop QQing and lets all be friends

I am a core member of Team Fun first of all. Secondly, it is neither a misunderstanding or a lie. So, back off about that. We arranged several matches, 2 of which we agreed upon. The first match, since neither guild made it, was put aside and we went to the fallback time. The fallback time came, no one PM'd us, your leader wasn't on, your leader did not send us any other contact info, and we challenged you to the match for over an hour. Obviously, you are the one mistaken and need to take a look at your so called "proof" which obviously is completely false.

Please, no more bickering.

Ummmm... I guess you guys did not read the "we have more than enough proof to prove otherwise." part of Orthias's post. And when we say "enough proof" we mean it. Maybe you guys should speak againg with your leader beacause, who knows, maybe his long term memory is going down. Maybe this will refresh your memory:

Please notice the "There are currently no players in the guil hall owned by "Team Fun"" part of the picture(taken exactly at the fallback time) . And this is only a small part of the proof we have against you mates. So start playing fair or go back to pre-searing please.
Cheers...

Error Seven Operators [Call] vs. Oo The Ancients Oo [aNc] (I think that's the tag)

Call 2, aNc 0.

Our tourney coordinator tried to set up a match time with them several days in advance. They never responded to the email so we didn't get any IGNs or any attempts to set up a time with us, and we went ahead at the fallback time (which was in our favor, sorry to them for that). We waited 20 minutes and no one was still there...and if I'm not mistaken, we left someone in there to check if any of them were in there, and for the next hour or so there still wasn't anyone. So we went ahead and reported in that they didn't show up.

Ancients, sorry about that.

And on the topic of Team Fun versus that guild whose name I can't remember (sorry guys, a bit harder to remember than two simple words), perhaps there was a mistake in time conversion and the guilds each thought the fallback time was at a different time? If this is true, then it makes sense both guilds say they were available at the fallback time and the other wasn't there.

Apparently we lost both games to Easy.

This in from anet so it is official. All I say now is in the interest of whatever I want: I wish Easy the worst of luck in the tournament and hope future opponents provide them with a tournament experience similar to that which they have provided my guild.

Fremen,

I asked kindly that you stop flaming me and my guild while Anet figures this out. Please, again, do not argue or flame me or my friends again.

Chill

HEY

HEY

CHILL OUT

kthx. Anyway, in my opinion, the organization of the Celestial Tournament by ANet was so poor that it is no surprise things like this are happening.

My new guild also had a bit of drama last round. America vs. Europe, time Europe purposed were either too soon (no time to notify team <24h) or at equally absurd times: 6am EST/3am PST. Considering the options, the fall back time was more reasonable for our guild, so they got upset and forfeited.

What's reasonable here? If 5am sucks for you, why do you expect it to be better for us? Reasonably negociatable saturday times would probably start at 11am EST and that will only work if people have off Saturdays. What is ethical negotiation here?

Bottom line: They should modify the rules to pair by wins then region, to minimize the number of cross regional conflicts. While this would give the tournement a different feel it would simplify logistics.

The biggest problem is that it seems there are SOOO many teams playing that are from two different regions, and that's what is most problematic.

So far, we've played two europeans teams in two rounds iirc, seems a lot of other teams are going through the same thing.
