Another 5 minutes later we skipped to Dark Chambers and met the same guild there again... 10 minutes after that we met them in Halls...

So uhhh was that a coincidence or were we the only 2 groups playing in HA?
Were you by any chance playing at 2am, or some other non-peak hour? From what I've seen since the reinstatement of 8v8 there's quite a bit of activity during peak hours, just like there use to be. Additionally, I know a lot of GvG players who are tombing pretty regularly now, when they weren't in 6v6.

8v8 is better for the game, period. Play during peak hours and you won't have an issue with nops or skips.

When it was 6v6, it took our guild 5 minutes to put together a group. When it went back to 8v8, it took us 2 hours. Two people made all the difference in the world.
A guild group takes 2 hours to form? Is finding 2 PUGs really that time consuming? I pretty much exclusively play with friends list people and maybe a single PUG, and it never takes more than 30 minutes at most to form.

To be honest i think your over exadurating a bit. As the guy above said, finding two pugs isnt hard infact its very easy. Are you sure you were doing your asking correct.

After a small discussion yesterday we realized that 1v1 kill count would be the worst idea ever.

Example:
spike vs. you (balanced)
Spike rushes in, spikes, spike was successful > RUNS for 4 minutes and spikes while running.

They should just make Broken Tower and Courtyard altar holding and leave HoH the way it is, maybe just fix AB capping style a bit.

It's not like I'm camping on this forum to see what people are writing. I thought if everyone is still suggesting 1v1 kill count no one wrote what I wrote above.

Well I strongly agree with 6v6. I feel with 8v8 it takes too long to make a group and I also feel that spike groups are getting out of hand with 8v8. I like 6v6 much better.

To the above person, if you played in old 8v8 you'd know that it took some time forming back then as well. Just deal with it

The real question is:

Why is this thread still open?

That may be true but you have to remember that back in the old days, there was a lot more people to pick and choose from as well. These days, you can stand around in a district spamming for ages before you find someone who can play what you're asking for.
