No guests is how it's supposed to work.

Given that and the 14 day requirement, I don't get why there are further roster limitations on daily ATs. All you are earning is qualifier points for your guild, so there isn't an issue of needing to choose 8 players to reward. They can keep this restriction in the major monthly tourney if they want.

How many guilds have a full roster without guests? It seems like an impossibility to me.

How many guilds fell apart or lost their core during this downtime? I'm optimistic, but not really sure I will bother. We'll see I guess.

While guilds get QP, individuals get RP. You can use RP to get reward from Tournament NPC.

In GvG ATS test last month, Izzy answered to my question that only the last party members (=who fight the last match) within a guild would get RP.
(He didn't remember the detail, mind)

I think it's not good and proposed alteration in my last report. I don't know how ANet took it and whether they change the rule or not.

Last month mind you, things change.
One of our members had to go before our last match of the tourney and he still gained 16 reward points for playing in the first 3 matches.

TY for the information. I wanted to know how they implemented RP allocation for GvG ATS.

May I ask a question? Did anyone play 4matches, or less than 3? Did anyone gained the same RP or not? If it difffered, how RP was given?

I proposed two alternatives:
1) fixed regardless of matches one played
2) scaled(RP multiplied by # of matches one plays, divided by # of matches the guild fights, round fraction up)
eg. A guild fought 4matches. If those taking part in all matches got 10RP, those played 3matches got ceil(10*3/4) = 8RP.

Yeah I didn't expect rewards to be given out for daily tourneys. I wonder if any rewards are being offered yet? Would like to know whats for sale before I grind out some HvH wins.

I more or less answered that in my last post but on that day we played 4 matches in total of which one guy had to leave after 3 games. He received 16 rewards points along with the rest of us who "played" the full 4 matches that day.

So as it stands it seems that aslong as you play atleast one match you get the reward points. Ofcourse you can't get loads of players to receive RP from just one match since you can only have a 10 man roster.

Quote from guildwars.com - "You will not yet be able to spend Tournament Reward Points, but in the future, Tolkano, the Tournament NPC, will allow you to exchange these points to upgrade the appearance of PvP items."
Note "items" , i.e. weapons and armour

Apparently, you can bring up to 4 heros with you. In which case, it seems more like killing npc's than it is actual people.
