Experts Dexterity at least takes advantage of Expertise.

Just look at Archer's Signet. If you put more points in Expertise....it helps you with Energy Management.....like you need it after putting points in Expertise.

At least Experts Dexterity takes advantage of the Rangers built in e-management. Archer's Signet just gives you more e-management when you don`t really need it.

I don't see why you guys are bashing Life Transfer so much; combined with a pure degen build, the only thing that'll stop you is an E/D or Domination Mesmer. I've used it to great effect for killing by way of pure degen while a silly wammo has Healing Breeze up. Yes, the recharge is long, but you've got your % recharge to whittle it to 15 seconds. Plus, the 5 energy cost is very nice. I'll cast it when they're low on health, just to ensure they drop.

Then again, I've only really used in in AB's.

Some time ago, when YAA wars were very popular, I was thinking of using a necro runner with life transfer/the hex that prevents shouts. However, the big downside is the recharge.

Gladiator’s Arena > PvP Build Directory > PvP Skill Discussion

If it was up to me, the Alliance Battle section would be in a different subforum.

Degen fails unless you spread it.

Life transfer's only use would be in 4v4 or smaller, preferrably 1v1. However, the recharge is too long for it. If you don't kill the enemy within the duration, which you won't, you'll die. The only fix could be to give it a shorter recharge.

Escape.

For PvP at least, you can do so much more with an Elite slot.

Quote mah posts and see.
Escape isn't that bad, it's just that there's a better skill out there that's not elite and does exactly the same.

about life transfer, it either needs a recharge buff, or 10 degen, and even then RM or even corrupt enchant would still own it.

Lacerate is elite just because it'd be quite good with a skill like Echo or Oath shot.

There are too many skills that are too good to not be an elite, but not good enough to be an elite tbh

There are some elites that aren't worth a normal slot.

But on the topic of seeping wound: I have seen it used efficiently as a lead for Black lotus strike and black spider strike. Its not as good as some leading hexes (Shadow Prison) but if your spike fails the degen often kills them.

If the target was able to die from degen from seeping wound then most likely they would die from degen from Twisting Fangs + Black Spider.

Seeping wound could only be mediocre in a degen build.

But what the heck is a sin doing in a degen build?
