LOL. I can't stop laughing at some people. How the heck getting better monks can fix Kill Count/HA?

Some people just don't get it. Kill Count promotes AoE Spike build. You throw everything in there and hope someone die. That's why not many teams running real hex or shut down builds because you can't kill as fast.

Terrible play style there. Now your team is always forced for the hold because you need to score points, the possibility of the party whipe every minute is there but this allows more holding power. This is a major flaw in the new HA playstyle. Also relic runs just stupid we have maps for those and halls isnt the place for it.

/signed on getting this crap out of here (Broken tower at the very least). There might be 3 people that play HA atm that somehow find a way to enjoy killcount. Every team I'm in lets out a resounding groan whenever we find out that we didnt skip Broken Tower. Personally I'd rather wait for 20 minutes while two teams duke it out on Scarred Earth, than to be the only balanced team on Broken Tower and get farmed by two spiked teams. I almost feel bad when we wind up ganging up on the other team because, though we may win because of it, they most likely are not having fun at all and are also very likely to be deterred to continue playing ha because of it. One of the things that I want to see happen to HA the most is a return of its player base, but with a mechanic that a good majority of people do not enjoy, I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Why do you guys keep signing when Anet doesn't seem to care about it?

Some of my friends and I kind of quit HA and GW all together already after double fame weekend so if Kill Count is still as stupid as before, there's no point jumping back in.

I've explained this before to groups I have been in, every kill count map I wish Anet just let us roll dice to decide who wins and not waste our time.

There is little skill when two guilds are going to gank a guild they have heard of holding halls, or if a few teams truly do not understand the concept of not being stuck in the middle. Even worse.. teams feeding each other because their friends are there. This 3 way method of eliminating teams to reach halls has worked, in the most horrid way possible.

The time limit does not help either, restricting back and forth movement between sides and multiple escape routes completely negates the factors until the very last seconds of the match.

My suggestion:
-Make kill count the first to 5-10 kills.
-Make it so that there are only 2 teams and 3 points to capture for bonus' towards the party. IE Increased damage, Increased Life Total, Morale
-Remove it completely
