I did a randomway that formed in like two seconds with no communication or anything (granted it was mostly r6+ players, then again, the average r6/7/8 atm is a total retard) and got two consecutive, would've had many more, but we skipped to courtyard... that was a week or so ago...

Drop killcount, it's a lame mechanic, and no one is playing HA right now for a REASON!

Few days ago I actully got bored enough and did the old school IWAY. lol It got my group 4 wins in a row filled with fun giggles on vent. Then we felt so dirty so we stopped =(

Appearently the new HA population forgot how to counter iway... -.-

Why are people against altars? I don't see a problem with Ward of Stability and Song of Concentration. There won't be any interrupt wars, just good and bad teams. If you can't kill a holding team with the help of another team then you're bad, you probably couldn't kill that team 1v1 without ghost so why do you all whine? It's obvious that they're better. If people are smart enough to attack the TEAM holding the altar instead of bashing the ghost and take some enchantment removals this wouldn't happen. Of course you can't beat 8 monks team, it's because either you play spike build yourself or you're just bad at tactics.
Mirror of Disenchantment > Bonders, Aegis, etc.
Distracting Shot, Savage Shot, Psychic Distraction, etc. > Blessed Signet, Spikes, Fertile Spam, Wards, etc.
Hexes, Spirits > Shouts, Spikes, etc.

Soon people will go into HA with one monk and 7 offensive characters who can heal (actually they already did).

I hate kill count, but again, Do you actually think the majority of people will stop playing Mass Aoe/Crap builds if it's removed? No

Bring back alter maps. If you think about it they were like the cosmos of HA. It made things balanced, people are like oh alter sucks but thats absolute rubbish because if it sucked so much firstly i would not be able to win halls like i did running various builds i wanted to (balanced), which if i where to run now i would be lucky if i even made it past broken tower.

Its like a the food chain. Remove one species and the whole chain is disrupted. In the same way this is with HA. Remove the heavy hex and pressure builds and other builds can flourish knowing their untouchable almost.

ANET SUCK. GET NEW PEOPLE IN CHARGE OF HA AND STOP MESSING US AROUND

If they brought altar holding back yes people would stop playing those builds because they have to bring enough defense to be able to control an altar. SOME people would continue to play those builds and hope to cap at the last second, but thats a relatively unreliable strategy.

Yes it would i believe. Think about it, back when alter maps where there what stopped people from doing the mass aoe? Its because people can actually take build utility and so shut down half your aoe like cg rangers migraine mesmers ect. The builds which easyily own this aoe builds arnt here so with alter maps back and these builds back Yes.

It would be nice if anet actually sent someone to explain what they think and what they are doing about the issue of kill count. Also when it will be removed if ever. Seriously its not rocket science, (oh wait for anet it is).

i think kill count should be definitely removed. it sucks to run for 3 minutes to try to get a team between you and the others to farm them :-9

i love holding maps. for me who is mainly playing monk its kinda chllenging to hold the ghost and the team against two enemies.

and the new style 30 secs-->1point is also nice

From what I've seen yesterday sRy doesn't really tries to get a team sandwiched, they just whisper the leader of another team and gank together.
