Increase the chance of getting a good team by being good yourself. This includes not leaving like a tard just because the team has no monk. Ive had so many great teams where we won a 2 v 4 or a 3 v 4 because we didnt have a monk and one person left...and we proceeded to 15+ wins...lol. you dont always need monk to win.

Actually I believe the single hardest bump in a 10-winning streak is a very rare, seldom found class: The intelligent assassin.
An IA(yes, it's getting an acronym, they're that rare) will actually pay attention to more than one thing at a time, and actually interrupt and/or kill people right after they res.
Fortunately you won't face many of them, but a single IA can make or break a mediocre team.

Funny you mention that, I ran into that today. This sucka camped my Rit and all 3 of my teammates' rez sigs were used on me. We still won the match, but I wasn't much use that go round. Won 12 total on that streak. But yeah, a good assassin can make life so much easier. But a bad assassin is probably the single biggest liability you can have on your team. Run off, teleport, die in 3 seconds. Boom, wasted rez, or just let him sit there dead (sometimes that works better in the long run).

I play my Rit in RA now more than anything else. It's very versatile and isn't always the automatic target like a monk would be. There's more to a Rit than dropping spirits, at least in 4v4. I can still squeeze healing (MBS, Spirit Light, Weapon Spells, Preservation, etc.), defense (Weapon of Shadow is SERIOUSLY underrated and the ultimate spike stopper), and damage (Essence strike [e-management too], Gaze from Beyond, et al) into those 8 slots. And I only need 2 attributes to do all that, so my points are never spread thin. Only thing Rits lack is good hex removal, but I can work around most hexes.

I don't PVP much anymore, usually just to unlock skills so that I can buy them from trainers with my PVE toons. But I still find glad points pretty easy to get. Every build has to have some survivability, because unless you're a chronic leaver (and I hate you if you are) you can't count on healing always being there.

Lol? And an intelligent warrior can do all that twice as well.

I roll an air ele build in RA most of the time, based around Mind Shock -> Lightning Hammer -> Enervating Charge. Kills of any unsupecting casters/overextended sins and can bring down a war or ranger for the rest of the team to help kill it. It has gotten me glad points, and seems to work in most situations...

Forget the intelligent sin. If you want smarts rol as a support character and do it yourself. Running with a decent group with a smart support wins glad. Current support are:
rt, ele, necro and to some extent BHA ranger. Your support needs to be able to shutdown atleast one character and be able to enable a kill or finish off a weak foe or pressure or provide extra healing to the group. The ranger is an odd one here cause most of the time you want to shutdown melee in ra while the ranger does it to casters, but he's also a good option. The key issue is for the support to shutdown the main damage dealers of the foe (that is why fire ele is not a good option, but and air or air/earth or water is).
btw, during last few days RA was very low quality.
