worthless weekend for me and our guild.

Still i'm not saying it's totally useless.

only if they did some tiny thingy for those who clearly aren't gonna get anything out of this one...

Why can't Anet leave us a title that is actually worthy and very very rare? Champion titles would have been that if they left it at 1500.

Make ratings or rank or whatever mean more...if you are high rank you only GvG hig rank, if you are low you GvG low rank guilds. My guild never does any GvG but we can go get a group and get ready and we enter to see the #15 guild in the game is there to kill all of us in 2 seconds? WOW what fun, lets do this every day!!! LOL

When playing GvG? That means you get champion points / second while you're getting owned?

And the AvA? Just because it's at the beginning of the alphabet, there no double faction for Alliance Battles? Come on Anet.

You realize it takes them practically no effort to do a double weekend as opposed to something useful, yeah? Why spend any thought on it one way or the other?

Double weekends encourage farming

Farming is bad

Double weekends are therefore bad

Mystically this event shows up at the May monthly championships where nearly all guilds that get champion title are playing (insert a sherlock like smiley here please). Well, I'll like the double faction to get from the monthly champs, as we won't get the champion points for a while still.

Good event for a while again. I just wonder when they are gonna get us triple tome event

And less than 5-10 guilds who are active in every region.

This will probably be as bad to me as the triple green drops weekend.

Alliance battles are horrible.
The problem with GvG isn't that people don't want to play it b/c they're not getting enough faction/champ points... its that people get sick of unbalanced shit going around. BALANCED SKILLS WEEKEND IMO

On the contrary. The last time they did GvG weekend was right before the mid-CT discort/ritspike nerf. This one is happening right around championships. They are using this to draw out people farming the ladder with gimmicks so they can gather just a little more data before committing to their skill rebalance.

Double Izzy Weekend -- we clone izzy so he can release a balance patch twice as fast! Expect great things by Aug -- Izzy is considering tweaking the recharge on mantra of earth to fix the game!

Double Gaile Weekend -- twice the excuses, and you still won't get any real information. Gaile: For the record, I never said a balance patch was coming. I said "a balance patch is a high priority and we hope the game fixes itself someday." Clearly, this is not an implied promise or deadline. We have many projects we are working on and cba to fix the number one priority of our audience since jan 2006 or so. After all, how else could we pump out more minipets and HvH?)
