Default New GvG (hopefully) Guild looking for advice

Hi all!Our Guild is trying to get more seroiusly into GvG and we would very much appreciate any hinsights from the more experienced.

We currently play this build http://gwshack.us/6936
and although we manage to do well at the flag stand (8v8)-thats why we have Jade as our GH - we don't seem to be able to cope with splits (corrupted,Frozen etc).Especially when our runner faces expose defences+recall sins with a monk in the split team he's getting his.....kicked and neither the help from the BSurger is really emmm......helpfull.

Now the question:is there anything that can be done with this build to cope with situations like this?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.tnx in advance

ps:English is not my naitive language so i'm sorry for any mistakes.

Just some general improvements to start with:
Eviscerate builds are generally spikey, so you're better off with Shock than Conjure, Cripslash is more suited to Conjure.

On the Backbreaker, you might want to change Bash for Mighty Blow for spiking.

Lightning Orb in for Hammer on the Bsurge, its much better for general use, and if you position right you shouldn't be missing.

With that aside, your problem with splitting comes from the lack, flagger aside, of a character that is split worthy. My advice would be to make one of your frontliners better for splitting, which you could achieve by putting in a cripslash with a build like:
[skill]crippling slash[/skill][skill]gash[/skill][skill]final thrust[/skill][skill]frenzy[/skill][skill]sprint[/skill][skill]healing signet[/skill][skill]mending touch[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

Or if you want to stick with Eviscerate, you could try:
[skill]eviscerate[/skill][skill]executioner's strike[/skill][skill]bull's strike[/skill][skill]frenzy[/skill][skill]sprint[/skill][skill]healing signet[/skill][skill]mending touch[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

One of those should make your frontline more splittable, so onto the midline. Seeing as you have two mesmers, you have two real options for making it splittable, either run a split mesmer, possibly with recall, which can shatter the assassins recall to send them back early, or lose one for a Burning Arrow ranger. Taking a Me/A also wouldnt hurt your build much, as you don't really need hard resses on two midliners.

For a mesmer, you could try:
[skill]expel hexes[/skill][skill]diversion[/skill][skill]shame[/skill][skill]shatter enchantment[/skill][skill]wastrel's demise[/skill][skill]power drain[/skill][skill]recall[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

Or for the ranger:
[skill]burning arrow[/skill][skill]distracting shot[/skill]][skill]savage shot[/skill][skill]apply poison[/skill][skill]troll unguent[/skill][skill]natural stride[/skill][skill]mending touch[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

Working in a splittable frontline and midline bar should vastly increase your split ability.
As a final tip, if your runner is getting beaten by expose defences on recall sins, use blurred vision on them. 50% miss is most likely going to stop their combo from landing, making them fairly useless.

Hope you found this useful.

Ok thnx a lot. We'll take all these into serious consideration. No doubt a single assassin isn't much of a trouble, but we have encountered the same thing twice in corrupted: a 3 man split team with 2 assassins and a monk who has preveiled at least one of them so as soon as the Blurred lands it's one click away from removal.Meanwhile we crash the flag stand team (although not easily since it's all defence-2 monks-2 rits ffs!!!) but pretty soon we're out of NPCs=gg.More splitable warriors are needed indeed but i thought we could also turn the Runner into E/Mo with Shield of Regeneration,Mend Touch, and a third Aegis perhaps for a complete chain?Ele skills same.

Well a splittable mesmer would definately help in cases such as you described, as sending one sin back to the stand destroys their gank. When you encounter a split with a dedicated monk, you're best to pressure the monk untill they're forced out or die. For defensive options, a Shackles runner can cope with single ganks, but multiple sins will be too much. For that a SoR runner works, but personally I find WoR runners to be very effective in base defense. A typical build would be:

[skill]weapon of remedy[/skill][skill]vengeful weapon[/skill][skill]soothing memories[/skill][skill]blurred vision[/skill][skill]teinai's prison[/skill][skill]frozen burst[/skill][skill]armor of mist[/skill][skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill]

However, no matter what build you choose for the runner, it's best to counter offensive splits with a strong offense against them. If you send back a strong counter - gank, you will have the NPCs to help you too, which give you a large advantage.
