Well it seems you did not want to debate the issue. Just rant I guess, who knows. I will know not to ask Nurse to unlock in future. .

QFT, alot of high ranked players and guilds with some "reputation" just farm hoh when its dead , and usually with lame builds , and in my experience these ppl are the type to hurl the type of abuse that u got thrown at you .

there are plenty of high ranked players that play descent builds at peak times and that treat u with a relativly good level of respect.

i recently joined one myself, the guild is meant to be r9-10+ , wich is the average rank ... at least until i joined with my newb rank5 :P i have been treated well and im now pretty much a first choice monk when we HA, and we HA all day, using origional builds, but most of all we dont take the game quite as seriously as most so we usually dont shout and baul and blame other ...

so, no, not all high ranked guilds are the way u described , some are , maybe even the majority, but not all

So wait, if a guy with 5-6 ranks higher rank than you accepts you to his group he's a decent player with a relatively good level of respect? Do you really think that people with high ranks are like "IM TEH BEST, BOW TO MEH!!111111111". If they're rank 9/10/XX don't you think they already have a nice friends list and that their friends list is the reason they don't take pugs? Why would they take a rank 5 pug over a rank 10 friend they've been playing with for the last 2 years?

I don't yell on vent. I don't usually consider people worth talking too, let alone shouting at them.

As I don't yell on vent you don't need to personalise anything towards me. You just appear like you want to flame me. I guess you are jealous and getting worked up.
Flame you? Anyway...

The OP was about getting verbal abuse for perceived or real poor play. I pointed out that shrieking on vent is a failure as a person. There may be reasons why someone would be quick to give in to this behavior, but my last post summarizes my thoughts on that.

In fact, considering the difficulty of perceiving many errors in teamplay in this game, I would not be surprised if the majority of such abuse is not even fully justified.
Just to use your example. You drew dazed off the RC. He failed then to restore you, which lead to the conflict. But another error was made. How long were you dazed for? 10? 15? 20 seconds? It should have dawned on you that the RC was not coming when it should have, that is, straight away. At that point you should have helped to correct the error by requesting RC, but you did not. I know you will say that you shouldn't have had to say anything, but my point is that even in this situation which you described, one could debate who failed and who did not.
So to pretend that you *know exactly* why one lost the game, i.e., because the infuser (OP) "sucked" at one point, is a bit... well, pretentious.

People deal with the excitement of failure in different ways. 14 year old kids and their adult equivalents just happen to like the easy way of blaming someone else.

No need to worry about anything. I wouldnt even bother thinking about it.

The game was already lost because his positioning was bad and his monking was bad. The conflict did not start when dazed was not RC'd. I didn't get mad or anything. It started when chamalee at the end of the round could not understand basic logic. I don't think I'm getting it into your head, am I.

I don't see the point in this thread now... The person who started it did not really debate the issue. I asked who played in the game and other stuff. I explained why some people can be on short fuses, but it seems he just wanted to rant .

Regardless, people are people. High or low rank, they're still idiots mostly. I wanted to try debate the issue because often I hear people moan about rank discrimination and what not.

The ironic thing is the amount of people who I've heard say 'high rank people have no life'. That's funny, because if the person who made this thread DID have a life and did meet people, have a job, was mature, what not:

He wouldn't need to have asked the question are all high rank players like that. He would understand what people are like.

I speak on vent.

Thank you for that information though. I don't feel my life was very fulfilled the last 21 years, I haven't known myself. You just help. Telling me about myself. You must really care. I'll send you a PM. Then we can talk about me where others don't have to read . I like the psycho-analysis. I studied psychology so we can have a big long debate about me. Whoot!

Some people do love to argue. Their conscience says they don't. So they try to deny it, but their sub-conscience loves it and they get serotonin and dopamine from it. They're in affect addicted to it. It can be about anything, some people get a thrill out of being angry but don't realise it. Some hurting themselves. I guess we all 'have a little problem'.

P.S I take lettuice very serious.
