Default Question about Wary Stance.

The description reads:
For 1...5 seconds, you block any attack skill used against you. For each successful block, you gain adrenaline and 5 Energy. Wary Stance ends if you use a skill.

So, if it says "any attack skill" that should include pet attack skills too, right?

Since, after testing a bit it turned out any pet attacks, such as poisonous bite, bestial mauning etc. hit through. So either the skill is bugged or I'm not aware of the distinction between the "regular" attack skills and pet attacks :S.

Any opinions on/explanations of this issue are greatly appreciated.

pet attacks aren't attack skills, more like buffs apllied to the pet.
thats why wary stance doesn't block it. shield bash doesn't either.

On the other hand, those pet skills do claim these name: "Pet ATTACK", which makes it an attack skill?

Don't use names to explain their mechanics. Pet attacks are interesting for example Tiger's Fury or Focused Shot will disable them.

I think pet attacks act more like anthem of flame, their mechanics work like an on next attack shout or something.

Unless it changed, since when does Tiger's Fury disable pet attack skills? Wasn't the whole idea behind Enraged Lunge bars to use Tiger's Fury to put charm/comfort on recharge to power your Enraged Lunge? If Tiger's Fury disabled EL, it wouldn't have worked this way...

I'm pretty sure that pet attack are considered as attack skills for most skills actually, but their mechanic is definitely different so something like Wary Stance might not work properly.

Just tested, Tiger's fury doesn't disable them, focused does.
So they are attack skill, but when the pet atacks, it idoesn't use a skill, it attacks normally and is just buffed with the pet skill (like anthem of flame as a previous poster said)

Well....you know who if you click on someone, it shows the skill they're using?
If you click on a pet, and you're using a pet attack....does it show you using it or the pet?

This is a very odd little loophole, I do hope Anet changes it.

TF does not disable pet attacks. It used to but it was changed a long long time ago.
