Default fun pvp?

I've been trying out pvp in RA and Im not having much fun. This may just be because there are better options than RA but I have no way of knowing that. I've been playing necro and I always feel useless. Is there a more fun pvp class? I know this depends on the person so im kinda asking which you think is most fun and why

Most people hanging around here will answer saying stuff like "PvP in GW suxx!" and "Izy blances skils as good az a phish ridz a bike" and when finished ranting go back to playing PvP in GW.

Still, my answer is this: Yes, there are more amusing forms of PvP than RA in the game. You see arrayed in this very forum, several child forums where discussion on those PvP forms takes place.

I'd suggest that you take your character to TA (Team Arena) and try to form (or pick up) a group of other individuals to make a real team together. This will increase the enjoyment of the battle immensely.

When, at some point in the future (usually a month or two of TA is enough to make people chafe around the collar) you might again feel constrained by the relative lack of differing gameplay. This is when you start looking for a GvG guild. Specifically one that instructs up-and-coming players in the art of guild versus guild combat.

Oh, and a necro that just stacks degen on the other team will break 90% of all the monks playing in RA, so don't worry - You can contribute just fine.

What Xanthar said, and he/she is very right. Especially about these whiney kids who go back playing GW anyway, despite all their "suffering" and rampaging through rant threads.

A Necro in RA is one of the best classes to play, actually, admittedly because hexes are still too strong. I recommend going anti-melee with enchant removal.

Let's say for instance

Corrupt Enchantment [Elite] <-- great for removing important enchants like elemental attunements, conjures, protective spirits etc..
Faintheartedness
Price of Failure
Reckless Haste
Parasitic Bond (use it on the top as a cover hex so important hexes don't get removed that easily)
Insidious Parasite (good for stopping the usual incoming Assasin teleport-spike)
Signet of Lost Souls (energy gain, a bit of healing)
Resurrection Signet

Curses 14
Soul Reaping 13

Builds can vary a lot, some bring condition transfer, some ritualist healing, some go more for degen (like Reaper's mark instead of Corrupt).

and some should learn the skill-code. Sorry for the bad formatting.

In before close!

But seriously, since you're asking the question, if you want fun PvP, go do alliance battles of fort aspenwood.
