Default New Assassin in AB need help

Hi guys, I just bought factions and I loved sins. So I was wondering if anyone can give me a help and some AB builds. with factions only skills (I have prophecies too, but they don't have sin so doesn't matter)

I tried today but I suxxed, dead almost all the time. I need some tips about how to play with him too

Thanks in advance!

Option A:

1.) Buy Nightfall
2.) Make a Shadow Prison spiker
3.) Roll your face on the keyboard for easy kills

Option B:

1.) Buy Nightfall
2.) Make a Deadly Paradox signet spiker
3.) Roll your face on the keyboard for easy kills

Option C:

Uh.... with Factions skills?

Probably something like:
[skill]Shadowy Burden[/skill][skill]Beguiling Haze[/skill][skill]Black Lotus Strike[/skill][skill]Horns of the Ox[/skill][skill]Falling Spider[/skill][skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill][skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill]

Or the old AoD shock sin:

Or some variation of:
http://www.pvxwiki.com/wiki/Build:A/E_Phoenix_Blossom

With sins, you put your finger on the number "1" button, and drag it as fast as you can across to number "8". Just like this:

Stay with your team and pick more opportune targets, and/or use AOD to give yourself a way out.

"Roll your face on the keyboard for easy kills" - I laughed for a good half minute at that expression. Bravo.

You don't HAVE to be a squishy SP sin or a silly Paradox sin. You could always run [card]Way of the Assassin[/card] and [card]Critical Defenses[/card] for a sin that lasts.

123456 sounds right. And if you see a mesmer who sticks inep and a billion other hexes on you, or a necro who SV and reckless hastes you, then just run away and find someone who's build does not directly counters yours.

Generally, it's recommended you pick on a squishy. . . seek out eles (anything but earth), monks, and dom mesmers. Do not waste your time fighting wammos and rangers, unless they're being a nuisance to your monk (if you have one). Oh, and avoid the ele shrine, unless some other meatshield has already drawn their fire.

Critical defenses is kind of shitty and forces you to put yourself in harm's way to stay up. Damage in AB is sluggish enough that you can just use [skill]Shroud of Distress[/skill] and get similar mileage.

A sin that lasts against what? Non-shadow step blocking sins can be summed up in one word....Prey.

Against Mending wammos that can't out-DPS flare spam against a target that isn't blocking. Or other bad Assassins. Or Rangers with Power Shot and Dual Shot. Don't worry, there are plenty of all of those in AB.

As for rolling your face: The term comes from WoW, i.e. "bind every key to Mortal Strike or Hamstring and roll your face on the keyboard." Technically you want to roll your face on the numeric pad in Guild Wars. Rumor has it that's even a working strategy for playing a Mind Blast ele or RaO thumper. I do highly recommend using your face though, it provides excellent coverage and minimizes the chance that you will leave buttons un-mashed.

Not so.

Everyone knows that physical damage dealers are King of PvP in terms of damage output. Granted, Alliance Battles are pretty PvE-esque and see a lot of casters, but Critical Defenses gives you a 75% change to block half of the professions in Guild Wars, just about. It's an insanely frustrating skill if I'm attacking someone using it. I tend to back off since I more often than not have no enchantment removal, so it's a lost cause.

Now. Go roll that face!

The last thing on my mind when selecting self-defense abilities is Defile Defenses.

I meant more that by the time you get to a squishy, you will be so shutdown you may as well /resign. Shadowstep means they can get off 1, MAYBE 2 spells off by the time they are halfway dead. A "durable" assassin running up to someone will be buried in hexes and/or conditions thus rendered useless, but at least the Healing Hands warrior will have trouble killing you, but you can just run away when he uses Dolyak Signet...

[card]Way of the Assassin[/card][card]Way of Perfection[/card][card]Critical Defenses[/card][card]Death's Charge[/card][card]Golden Fox Strike[/card][card]Wild Strike[/card][card]Death Blossom[/card][card]Mending Touch[/card]

WoP could be [card]Feigned Neutrality[/card] instead, I suppose. Death Blossom could be [card]Nine Tail Strike[/card] instead, also, but then your combo won't be as fast. I can run this build with good results as long as you have Zealous Daggers and about 30 Energy to work with, and you don't go around spamming Mending Touch.

Also, you could always be a Fevered Dreams sin for some AoE fun! It's twice as fun if you can find a Temple Strike counterpart.
