Andrew was hanging around in hero battles earlier, and I asked him if the new ta/ra maps where staying, his reply;

"The cap point maps in the arenas is something the designers are gathering feedback on. I have not been told that they are staying, but I need to get the "offical word" before I am sure."

WOW didnt they get enough feedback in this thread ?? What more could they posibly want ? 90% of the ppl hate it, i can't even play TA without getting pissed. Took me 30 mins to play 3 matches cause i got 2 consec HB maps, and lost on last 1 cause they had 3 fricking healers.

At no point does the team have to split up, 4 players on 4 shrines with 1 pip of capping or 4 players on one shrine with 4 pips of capping makes no difference. The only change to a balanced team build I can see would be the inclusion of a running skill to reduce transit times, and allow solo capers to perhaps kite out of danger, or catch up to the party after a res.

Why would 3 healers cause a loss on a HB map? I presume you were trying to fight instead of cap the shrines?

I really don't like these changes at all. I add my name to the list of people that will stay away from TA until these changes are reverted.

1. remove from RA
2. keep in TA but...
3. add DP and 60% DP = no auto-res at shrine
4. faster capping
5. faster morale

I don't like it at all.

To long.
To much running.

People don't play HA because of the stupid shrines. I can't believe they are bringing that junk to RA and TA. It is like one of the devs felt bad because people are not playing the silly maps they worked so hard on and they needed to try to fit them in somewhere else.

if it wasn't for the bonus weekend for arenas, there would be even less people there than normal. i can't see how they expected to get any relevant data by adding incentives to play on the broken maps. my bet is that the population of TA/RA will be dropping after the double glad/faction event, if these maps stay.

Someone needs to make a vote thread for this. Maybe they havent taken it out because people are still playing even though there annoyed. Maybe if we stopped Ta/Ra they will really get it that 90% think its horrible.

well, i for one am not going to play in arenas until its removed. and everyone who agrees should do the same as well. the double glad/faction is over soooooo:

The HA map in RA is totally horrible. What an idiot move of ANET. I don't have time to get a team or guild to play in TA, HA or Guild Battle, so mostly I just run quick matches in RA. This new map really drives me crazy. I have to stop playing RA altogether because of this new map. I also hate the priest map, a few times we kill the other party and then they got resurrected. Once we had to kill the other party for more than 5 times.

Rather than jumping around screaming that you hate it and that is not fun maybe you should try and design a team build to handle these maps when they come up.

Two of my guild members came up with a decent build that wins most of the time in 4v4 and we win almost all the time on the HB maps.

You just need to reevaluate the build you are running and adjust. I like that it shakes things up a bit. It kills some of the gimmicked spike teams and gives everyone a level playing field. Stop whining about it.
