Default Should frustration really work like this?

Almost immedietaly after the skill appeared in guild wars, I figured out that this skill doesn't work exactly as it says in the skill description.

[skill]Frustration[/skill]

As can be seen in the skill, it's supposed to add damage when a spell is interrupted. However, this skill also works with interrupting attacks. When it came out, I would occasionally make a 16 illusion skill mesmer and enter it into RA, where I'd completely destroy any attack based classes by using a whille-timed Clumsiness, and quickly follow up with signet of clumsiness before the target can stop auto-attacking. When it works properly, the target almost instantly takes 266 damage.

That's a lot of damage! o_o

Anyway, I stopped playing GW for a long time but recently started up again, and using this skill peaked my curiousity. Is it a bug? Should the skill be working like this?

Quite a few mesmer bosses use Frustration in conjunction with Clumsiness, so yes, probably.

I think the skill description should be changed, but don't nerf the skill.

I doubt it would be nerfed. The skill is never used this way in any form of PvP I've noticed (unless I'm the one that's using it). It may just be that it's not popular, but it most likely means it's just not a broken mechanic.

Although, I'm not sure of any skills Anet has changed completely because it wasn't "working as intended".

This does not necessarily imply a correlation, however. Also, he fact that this skill has been around for over a year without seeing a description change heavily outweighs it, even if it's true, so.... I'd have to wonder wtf is wrong with the people that manage skills o_O

It's a bug. Either the effects have to be changed or the skill description.

You're right. Dealing an almost instant 266 damage to a warrior, ranger, dervish, or non-Deadly Paradox assassin has absolutely no use in any level of pvp.

With the short recharge on clumsiness, you're probably better off with another cast of that on a warrior than using frustration. Plus, why not cast it on someone where both the effects will be useful. It's like I can cast migraine on a warrior for the -3 degen, but who cares? The true power lies in the slower casting time.

I believe I saw Izzy running Frustration with Clumsy, and used it only on phys. dmgers, so it could be that he just messed up on the description.
