Also grats to EW, a well deserved win even tho the final game was quite boring.

Dammit, I forgot they were broadcasting and had to watch the match like a normal person. Those first 18 minutes were some of the most boring GW I've seen since the Incoming! days. Grats to Guiding Hands tho for making VoD interesting.

I have 2 questions:

What the hell happened to DF losing to a shitguild like [rezz], i didn't watch the match yet.

Why did dR run such a shit build? Obviously you're going to get flawlessed if you run bad linear one dimensional brainless bullcrap.

I won't disagree that there were better builds we could have run, but thats all a result of hindsight. From the sounds of it though your reasoning for why we lost the match is misguided.

I'm curious to know why you consider the only build you've ever accomplished anything with to be 'such a shit build'.

I don't understand how a BSurge/Ward bitch or Paragon instead of a trapper, or whatever other single character you'd want to put there, is the difference between the established metagame build and 'one dimensional brainless bullcrap'.

I've decided that there are two things that can make a boring match exciting - narration by Asp and the Mortal Kombat theme song. If there was ever a match that was narrated by Asp and had the Mortal Kombat theme song playing in the background, I think my head would asplode.

Also, who was on ranger for DF? I thought it was Vanq (his account), but Farin was yelling in Obs about Champ dying, so was it Champ on vanq's account?

rezz played pretty darn well. Even against EW they controlled the match up until VoD, then got raped by Splinter + Ancestor's Rage... or rather, by their own lack of Splinter + Rage. For 18 minutes I kept asking myself "how the hell does EW win this?" By 19:00 it was pretty obvious. It's worth watching.

Our ranger was champ.

Our loss was a combination of:
-Not having our standard roster
-Not playing in a month.
-People making rank 500 guild mistakes.
-Using a build we have 0 practice with (didn't really matter).

BUT I DIDNT WANT A MONITOR ANYWAY

Gratz to EW one of the better matches i have seen in a while

And a very great congratulations to MfG and Car. Even though not playing the best builds imo, this match was epic. You guys played real well.

Congratulations to EW ! We lost in monthly vs EW for the same reason, even though we had morale advantage, splinter and ancestor's at VoD was too much to handle, add to this awesome mesmer job by EW, and we lost the game.

Splinter is still a problem to some extend, by not taking it, you are handicapping your team.
