Default Warmongers Weapon

This skill is really overpowered in 4v4 arenas. There's nothing much u can do vs it and it can be kept up almost 24/7 on a meele making skills that has a cast of 1 sec or more hard to use.

I'd like to see the duration decreased drastically to 5-6 secs at 14 channeling (spawning power not included). Any opinions?

Yes this skill is retarded. if you think Magebane Shot is overpowered because of interrupt spamming, Warmonger weapon is even worse on R/P spearchucker and R/W thumper.

It's ridiculous, and it's been ridiculous for a long time. Some teams are running Echo Warmongers on dual Thumpers, or Warmongers on a pet with Otyugh's Cry (which is locked onto your Monk). I don't think anything good can come out of this skill - just kill it completely.

To be frank, I don't mind it so much for the effect; I think it's vastly overpowered right now because of the near-constant duration. Channeling: 14, Spawning Power: 10 equals Warmonger's Weapon: 17 seconds. In fact, I'm 99% certain that Channeling: 13, Spawning Power: 9 also equals Warmonger's Weapon: 17 seconds. And if you were truly determined, you could spec your channeling as high as 16 for a complete 19 seconds of coverage.

That's just dumb. However, I don't believe that a simple reduction to duration is the solution. I'd like the spell to read something like this:

Weapon Spell. For 20 seconds, target ally has a Warmonger's Weapon. Target ally's next 1...3...4 attack(s) interrupt a foe who is not attacking.

Your team actually

Kill it. It's so cheap. With 2 rit/mes expel hex and 2 r/ps RaO, it's a pain to deal with them.

Make it 25 energy 3 s cast, cause double exhaustion, sacrifice 50% hp, all skills disabled for 20 s... or whatever

Warmongers is fine outside of TA, and the game isn't balanced around TA.

Truth. There are many things that are extremely overpowered in TA/RA, but balanced in the other PvP venues.

As annoying as warmonger's is, it is possible to work around with practice.

try kiting stances or be smart enough to cast guardian before u start getting wailed on... but ya nerfing skills is already done no sense getting upset

Warmongers is rarely used outside of 4v4 - changing it won't have much of an effect on other arenas.

The same can be said for Deadly Paradox but it got nerfed because of casters sins in pvp arena.
