so, just because you are unable to use NS after the hex, that doesn't make the 2 (bad) skills you posted superior to stride. :P

1) There are no "good" assassin builds.
2) WD and LF have Horrid recharges what make them very unflexable.

Yea a well-timed dshot will destroy a sin. I think R/N would be better. Rend is a really good enchant removal.

Bro, I hear you, and I agree. If you use NS after the attack is under way, it definitely trumps WD or LR. But as a sin player, when I teleport to a ranger and start attacking, it's usually the sudden appearance of a sin that makes the dude spring his NS. If they waited, it would be no problem.

Two things. One... I think the ranger is perhaps the best class out there to defend against anything while still being offensive minded. Two... I think this topic is a little off base, because I doubt there are assassins out there in AB who just look to target rangers. Ele's, monks, and dervs are the best choices if you have to fight. Strip all enchantments, disable their casting, destroy. The first two don't apply to rangers.

Escape and Cripshot are highly underestimated in AB.

I like bringing a Glass arrows spike
With Lightning Reflexes.

If the assassin gets passed Lightning reflexes, thats when you Dshot, or savage them.
Glass arrows, if needed be lets you kill them.

You should probably travel with another person.
I find that assassins don't like to go after rangers.

Unless thet got the unblockable combo with wild strike, but even then you will have to be careful. You don't want attacks d-shotted. Crip shots are right out even for my build.

as some ppl already said, you should apply ns after you get hex... I.E get hex wait for the sin jump the hit ns.

there are no better skill for a ranger stance atm. its beside the short recharge time, you get 50% of blocks and run faster... what can u ask for more? this skill basically is the survival tool for ranger. u dont need more then 6 sec on ns anyhow. hit ns, run troll Regen, gg back in game.

anyway you look it, it shine brighter then eve on the snow.

its is a good viable option, but losing the mend touch for something like this [skill]Plague Touch[/skill] might not cut it.
