I dont really see a problem with the avatar, when balancing the skill you have to consider other skills with similar effect.

People take melandru mainly just to avoid blind, but taking another avatar and Sight Beyond Sight can be a better option, especially when it grants insane movement speed and armour increase.

The only real problem with this skill is the immunity to conditions. Thats the thing that makes this skill stand out as something that removes "active" play and therefore is bad for the game.

I always thought people took Melandru because the condition immunity gives them greater survivability when overextended for longer periods of time. When Melandru is up, monks only have to worry about hexes and red bars on that character. Also, its really hard to spike someone you can't deep wound.

And the fact that you cannot control their damage via blind, cripple and then the fact that for a long time wearying strike was better than eviscerate because melandru removed the downside to the skill.

What arenenet need to consider is this?

To give warriors an equivalent power I think they need to buff two skills.

1. Battle Rage. For 60 secs you are immune to conditions. bla bla skill disable.

2. Dismember increase adrenaline to 8 and add bonus damage up to +40.

Overpowered? Of course not.
