Prepared Shot should only be used with Concussion Shot, imo. I ran Prepshot all the time before Magebane, but now I just don't get why you would try to pull it off...The extra energy is nice, but around 2 second attack speeds=d shot food, and the ability to use more Savages in less time is inconsequential considering that it doesn't disable at all, and most skills are 1/4 casting time. WoD, Spotless, Patient, CoP, Enfeeble, Foul...SoM at higher FC (Not to mention gud1s don't just dive in).

I ran this ranger too with 16marks. Too bad ur preparation is likely to be interrupted most of the time vs strong teams thus making prep shot unreliable as a source of energy management.

We cant afford to have no purge signet cuz we usually run ZB monk with holy veil as the only hex removal on his bar. And if u meet strong hexway aka 2x antimelee + migraine u are pretty much screwed without veil and purge if u ask me. U can share ur tricks with us ofc.

As for the ranger bar... FF is on every nec bar so rangers dont have to bring mend touch anymore = extra skill slot.

This bar comes to my mind.

[card]melandru's shot[/card][card]concussion shot[/card][card]distracting shot[/card][card]savage shot[/card][card]natural stride[/card][card]apply poison[/card][card]purge signet[/card][card]resurrection signet[/card]

Even if u dont meet HC ms is still viable (remedy on assassins, veil, prot spirit, dervishes...). If u daze a monk with conc shot he will prolly get FFed fast but dazed necro is win too.

my team usualy never goes further than 20 wins and we ALWAYS meet at least a few hex teams...dual or single hex teams, that is.

magebane's is still priceless - blocks on sins cuz of critical defenses, guardian on monks, escape rangers etc. and the great disable-spell-on-interrupt feature.

Melandru's Shot is too conditional for me and Daze right now isn't that useful. Even if FF draws it, it won't affect a necro too much. If the necro gets very lucky with a 40/40 or you let your eye off of him, it could end up backfiring.

Well, bringing daze and more cons is suicide vs C-way....

Any of you come up with any build that is decent vs all of the gayness in TA now? :/

I've tried 2 necs(WoD and Depravity) and 1 MB ranger, seems decent vs most of the stuffs, but the build itself is gay

foul feast is crazy, we all know why so i wont write an essay. WoD...make it 20 sec recharge? or as suggested 1 sec cast perhaps? But yeah...foul feast..10en maybe? Me/N are nothing new, fc plague sending is strong for sure but its just blind spam. Glad to see mesmers and necros back in the meta though.

Don't flame karla-cake well...it is true nevertheless.

anyhow, nerfing the shattering assault chain somehow (making least 1 attack blockable) and killing hc would have taken care of most of the broken things.

I don't see the SA assa chain getting nerfed anytime soon, but apparently Mina says that HC will get nerfed. Here are my predictions of what will happen...

Signet of Humility will be used even more. However, Rangers will be more useful. As such, that might be enough to counter Hum Sig. Warriors might do something
else besides backline people 24/7...

For what its worth, Patient Spirit now heals 25% less when under HC. Vigorous Spirit is not effected by this though. There is also rumors that the Spotless spells were fixed, but PvPing kind of sucks as a stick figure, so I probably won't find out for 22 hrs, but maybe someone else will post it first.

- Spotless Mind and Spotless Soul no longer remove an additional hex or condition when they end.

Someone who knows how to use Wiki might want to put that up?

It doesn't.

It did reduce their effectiveness a little. So HC's will now drop even easier to large chunks of dmg and they will even die to pressure eventually.

I think it's a proper fix. Did not completely destroy the build, but made it step back in line a bit so it's not superior to WoH and ZB anymore. I'm curious what will happen to smiteway.

now they gotta nerf shadowstepping instagib sins right?
and also smiteway, sway, r-spike, etc...
guess what? new gimmicks will see light soon enough, this whole balance issue is neverending. what will end it is a overhaul to the whole title concept and the mix up between PvE and PvP

The fixes to the Spotless spells will make more of an impact than the patient spirit fix in the TA environment. However, its reversed for HA and GvG when you consider how Patient Spirit now works with HB.

As for the HC monk, its still viable if you put it in the right team, however, its easy to out damage without support now.

Let's not balance the game then, it's useless. But seriously, why did they nerf the n/a template, it was a gimmick like another one!
