So, apparently this is some incredibly common phenomenon? Why the heck are you complaining, then?

If it's actually common enough as to be a problem, take a Necro with high SR, then bask in the glory of 12-13 energy as often as the SR timer allows and spam whatever the hell you want. Hell, get your whole party to do it. While we're at it, why not sync with other parties of all Necros?

Oh, it's not that common? Then don't worry about it.

I've seen it happen once in a couple of days AB, so it's not very common.
And most players, on both sides, hate it.
But since it requires 2 players there must be better ways for them to give points to the other team fast.
The only 'advantage' is that they can spam it in advantage for about 50 points.

Actually, this isn't true. One duo of saccers can give the win to the other team on every map and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

While that might be true I can think of other ways to score points for the opposing team faster than duo sac.
The only 'advantage' of duo sac is that it can be done before the battle starts.
And you can prevent, but FS is not the kind of skill you want to bring in regular AB.

If a BiP sacs himself won't that give his opponing team a point? I can't seem to understand why would they do quick faction when the death of luxon gives a point to kurzick so resing and diing would give kurz points, not luxon

That's the point, they ruin the game for their side.

EoE got nerfed mostly because of EoE bombs in HA, AB was just an extra problem.

To the OP, just /report them for griefing and get the rest of your team to do the same.

There are always a few sick people on both sides trying to ruin the game for hardworking ABers. Don't let it get to you.

If the bad people don't take a break from what they do, good people shouldn't either.

Reminds me of lucky luke (god knows why lucky luke), where jesse james says "There is no law for those who cheat against themselves."
Lol, Lucky Luke ftw. Are you French?

Anyways... it can't be that common, as I have never seen it before. It sounds annoying though, and you can report them if you want to.

Easily solved; get the local noob wammo to stand there and cast healing breeze on him. It's not like wammo's contribute normally anyway. Heck, half of them carry WoH now, too.

Until ANET decides to punish those who change allegiance constantly , this problem will not be solved. I see the majority of the problems arising when there are large numbers of members from one of the "outpost owning alliances" in the AB arena. My theory is that those alliances have an extra account that would be created to have a guild with allegiance to the opposite side, This makes it possible for them to "guest invite" members to the other side and form teams that will inevitably undermine the ability of that side to fight an honest battle and have a chance to win.

My suggestion for solving this problem is for ANET to limit the amount of times that a person can change sides, or a similiar method of limiting their ability to undermine a battle.
Shouldn't the alliances that own outposts have the most loyalty to the side they have chosen ? This is clearly a problem that needs to be addressed with more than a few skill adjustments.

The original way they would undermine a battle by "leeching" was addressed and they worked around it by moving around instead of just standing there.

Alliance Battles need a major surgery instead of band-aids being applied.

It'd probably work, but the problem isn't big enough to make it necessary to start messing around with guilds.

I thought leechers were people who just farmed faction AFK? If they move around then they're technically there, so if they dont fight they're just plain thick. What's the point of sitting at your PC doing nothing instead of doing something else while you farm AFK? Doesnt make sense.

Alliance battles don't really have anything seriously wrong with them; it's casual PvP for god sake. If anything, just ban resses from AB. It'll stop the fast cast ressers from adding to the suicides and 1 death every 30 seconds isnt going to do much (I assume it'll take at least 10 seconds for them to kill themselves, might be wrong). It'll do us all a favour; most people only ever take res into AB by mistake. You can kinda understand Vengence but thats about it.

lol... what is odd is that Alliances ig are like those in real life. People change sides constantly, or turncoat, whatever you want to call it.

I actually think it is a good idea to have both Kurzicks and Luxons infiltrating the other side because it will force people to run with know affiliates... not accept random people into their parties... and keep people on their toes about who is doing what. Maybe people will actually fight a bit harder for their sides instead of complaining for 1vs1 the whole time we are in an AB session.

Also, blatantly undermining the opposing sides weaknesses is a good tactics in my opinion. You win that way. Plain and simple. You should try it sometime and see how it works for you...

* The only people I see exploiting this would be town owners or die-hard Kurzick/Luxons who are willing to sac faction for the greater good. Noble or retarded, I think it is funny... haha.

Tbh the majority of town-holding alliances' faction comes from FFF...
