Default Question about D Chop

How do most warriors use Disrupting Chop? I personally have found that it is 60% Predicted 30% Luck and 10% Reflex. Not sure if there is any better way to use Disrupting Chop. Would love to hear how others do it.

[[Disrupting Chop]? You don't go switching targets to look for something to interrupt. Just use it against whatever you're currently fighting if it starts using a skill that takes a couple of seconds to activate.

Use D Chop on a monk that gets up from knockdown.

Yeah, prediction and timed to quaterbreak a monk / defensive caster getting up from KD are going to work better than trying to reactively hit something (which at the very least necessitates popping frenzy). Just make sure you're not saving it, because consistent use will apply pressure indirectly (caster feeling worried about getting something important hit) and will get 'lucky' disables.

Timing is your best best to landing an interrupt, your best chance is after landing a bull's strike or after a shock. I find that if im in frenzy, i can offload a eviscerate and executioners, wait just a split second, then hit dchop and chances are i will get something. Or after a knockdown, count 1.5 seconds, then hit it, if in frenzy, count 2 seconds. Chances are after some practice you will be able to interrupt more and more things, not just after kd's but being able to read player patterns. Practice is the key, practice.

If you use it on a monk after Eviscerate when he's at 20-40% health, its a 99% chance you will get a skill.

It is all about timing. The easiest is after a knockdown as you can get 1/4 cast spells pretty easily that way. Make sure you always keep in mind the aftercast delay in between cast(look at the animations) and all your dchops should at least land when a skill could have been used.

I usually use it when monks or defensive characters like bsurges are getting up from a knockdown, incase they have a skill queued up. I'll also use it on 2 second casts because I know I can hit them. I'll sometimes dchop people just predicting that they'll cast something, but it doesn't work out too often. Works better if you use it after your evis/body blow in a chain because a monk is more likely to prot himself then.

Also sometimes I'll try and time my dchop on a monk or bsurge or something if I know my other warrior is spiking another target, hoping to get something. Shock is better for that though usually.

The times I most often spam it is after a kd, on low monks after a spike and after a GoLE goes off on a player that probably wants to hit me with something. I also try to use it on those lovely touch skills (SoM, Blackout) but it's always dicey even with frenzy going. I'm always surprised how many RoF's and patient spirits I catch with it just doing predictive spam. Of course, a good monk will know that a warrior is likely to splash a d-chop after a kd though and wait if possible.

Usually just predicting. Bsurgers are often predictable. As mentioned, the KD/quarterbreak stuff works now and then. And when i walk past aegis, diversion or stuff like that, you can always take a nice little swing
