There are sill a handful of TA guilds out there.

rsn
HcH

are the most active TA geared Guilds out there that I can think of. There are some others, but I left TA about 2 months ago to concentrate on GvG so I'm not sure.

PS.. Team Angels [TA] just folded and there were a TA focused guild that took any rank so long as your were not an idiot and were also TA focused.

But guilds like rsn isn't that just gvg guild with rarely going to TA?
I mean with my guild when we entered TA for like the first time as a team we faced them to and we won.. Was a hard fight but still, we were only rank 2 glad, all 4 of us..

To be honest, very few guilds TA seriously anymore; you mostly have groups of people in guilds that play together, or you have friends from various guilds that play together.

If you care to break into TA, you should just find people that you enjoy playing with and play constantly until you don't suck. You may have to PUG a great deal if you have no friends that are interested in TA. My American group started from a random g2 encounter in RA. My European group started from an ID PUG. You have to start some place.

When you play TA, there are, in my experience, a handful of intervals you should be aware of:

1) European TA: many of the g5 to g7s play, Jace also used to play this interval; I haven't played him recently.
2) American TA: they suck fairly hard compared to European TA'ers, and you get RA leftovers often.
3) Late Night America, Early Morning Europe: some of the very high ranked players opt for this period, and you absolutely have to play a stronger game than they do, or you have to play Build Wars for the rest of the night. Sab, Cirque and [Wins] used to enjoy this period a lot.

If you're a serious player, then you play a serious build, you play during #1 and #3, you play with the same people, and you beat up everyone that you encounter.

Third category is (from my own experience) a few good teams (normally only 1, sometimes 2 good teams) farming RA teams and inexperienced or/and gimmicky TA teams, if there's any at all. Koreans are, ofcourse, included in the few decent teams roaming about at such hours.

At No mas, you cant always beat everyone, unless its at hours such as the case is in the third category.

Dunno Steel Singer, when I left [rsn] 2 months ago it was 24/7 TA with a tad bit of GvG, then we had a huge GvG spurt where we did whatever the high ranked guests told us to do. That's when I burt out of TA and got hooked on GvG and left for a guild that GvG more and doesn't depend on guests for games.

Last I knew they were top 500 though and not GvGing much but the core guys are still hooked on TA.

Also, why's she always call you "No Mas" Eden?

i got to glad 6 just with RA. i had a TA team for about 3 months, but we weren't that good. and thats not grinding or even playing RA every day.

if you can monk or rit-resto well, or even int with a ranger well, you could easily start making points. speed on the other hand.. i've been playing for 3 years.. so.. some of us have had a lil headstart if you're just now getting into it...

I'm only r3 glad but lately have really found the urge to get into serious TA again and build up again from scratch (since my old groups stopped playing)... only thing is I can never find a place where guilds recruit for TA or have the same desire as I do.

I can't imagine even getting r2 in RA, considering thats going to be around 1k matches played with complete idiots running crap builds (as opposed to the average TA group with mildly retarded people with decent builds). Playing in RA is just gimping yourself anyway, seeing how you wont learn to get better playing against terra tanks and X/N minion masters.

As for getting ranks in gladiator in TA, be good, grind a lot, and play during the noob hours.

TA is pretty much empty most hours, and chances are if you do get in a pug it will quickly end via gimmick unless you're doing gimmick v. gimmick. In which case you'll probably want to to /wrist more than play video games.

RA is full of retards but it's just like pubbing an fps game, a large chunk of the skill is simply honing yourself into fine tuned button masher that knows all the gay tricks and techniques that win. Grinding for hours against tards in RA is probably more beneficial than ctrl+v "lfg" for 30 minutes in TA.

TA is so bad now, dunnow why. Maybe everyone got bored, still see some of the same faces from way back, but is really dead now. And the ones that are there are so bad (imo hero's are the worst, dunno why but they are), have given up and just go a match or 2 in ra if i get the urge to GW. Get some good battles in RA with all the guild synchers, korean dist ftw.

Blame the super-cool balances that either forced u to play a gimmick or lose, and seriously, everybody got bored thanks to it.

let's start with a few nerfs to FF, WoD and Wounding Strike. Remove them from the game for all I care. It will seriously benefit the game..

gogo.

Do you think the people who buffed Death Pact are capable of knowing what can benefit the game?

Gimme a break.

The problem i have with wounding strike is that it has a 3 second recharge + the deep wound is automatically covered by bleeding.

The problem I have with Wounding Strike is that it was fine before they decided to buff it.

I got my glad1 in ra and then I was fed up with ra. You must be very resistant to get higher titles there where warriors are using healing breeze and other spells.

The only problem I've seen with RA is that people bring a build to try and do everything, and they don't do one particular thing well.
