Everyone is entitled an opinion, and telling someone "lol ur guild suxx" as a reason to exclude them from having an opinion doesn't realy contribute to the discussion either, at all.

Besides, we all agree, it's a bad idea. We might have different reasons to think it's a bad idea, but the conclusion is the same.

some questionable calls on the proposed list, i'll comment on a few:

GANK? do they even play as a guild anymore???
DoM? their games already show up, no need
ugly? despite all the ugly hate, im an ugly fan
TV? what would that teach you, they play one build, while they play it well, how much can you learn from obs'ing Rspike on multiple maps?
Crew? a guild that can only run one build with any success, and only on maps that require no strat other than annihilation, altho from their members that i've byobed with, it would seem that with the exception of their 2 loudest members they're pretty competant
KeYs? would be a good one to watch, usually seem to be well organized
uV? don't see them play as guild often, but i do keep limited hours
CneX? again don't see them play as guild often, but i do keep limited hours
AMp? again don't see them play as guild often, but i do keep limited hours
VaiN? are you kidding?

Wow.

GANK: They hardly play together as a guild anymore. You'll see Starcraft and a couple others but that's about it.
DoM: They're okay.
Ugly: It gets boring playing against them because they run the most ridiculous defense and matches last at least 15 minutes. And they refuse to resign when they know they're beat so matches go on even longer.
TV: What can you learn from watching Rspike over and over and over again? Plus, they played sway during the last few hours of the weekend, so any respect I might have had for them is gone.
uV: I don't think I've ever seen them.
CneX: Rarely have I seen them play.
DOGS: Who?
AMp: Seen them win occasionally but I see their McTigger more in ID1
Crew: Paraspike and what else?
KeYs: A good pick. Very organized group that can run multiple builds and win.
LOol: More like LOL.
RuN: Again...who?
VaiN: ..............
LotP: Where are you coming up with stuff like this?
DRKN: Absolutely no comment.

mehhh this became a flaming fest and I did know that it would happen. Generally speaking, I noticed that most high ranks (there are exception) in this game has little sense of humm respect? may i say?, how hard is it to stick to a topic without having to flame or else, constructive comments are fine ofc. May I ask for a /close or /delete?

"Ur statements are full of shits, quit this discussion, cya thx gg. " That was innapropriate and it doesnt bring anything new to the topic/tread. I am wondering, how would you boss react if you talked to him the way you do in-game. THere's one thing that you guys forgot when you hitted you Shiny Pheonix, or Shiny Tiger (there are some exceptions), the caracters/forums users that you are flaming/opppressing with your big head are humans afterall, there's a soul + a body in front of the screen. And I give myself about 10days maximum to get banned, because the mods/admins obviously always take the side of high ranks/high end pvp players (wich is understandable, since they are, most of them, part of that community). Your attitude is partly causing the renewal of the base of new players. (no wonder you guys are called Big Heads or bubble heads).

I know that this reply is full of s*** and flaming, but meh, an eye for an eye no?

Look how I am going to get banned, and how the users above won't even get warned.

This is hardly a flame fest. You'll always get the usual "omg they're bad" posts when you list guilds.

As for getting banned in 10 days : that'll only be the case if you deserve to be banned.

Your speech about the "big heads" and the "lack of respect" is touching, honestly, but your post is just as big headed and disrespectful as any other flamepost. Phoenix, tiger, or any other crappy emote aside, as fame is not needed to flame.

As for how my boss would react if i talked to him the way i talk ingame : well, he'll probably wonder what the hell "shockaxe", "cripshot", "backlining", "blurred on 1" and so on means. But other than that he'll be more than ok with it. Creating a non-inflammable atmosphere starts with yourself. Even if others do it, it doesn't justify you doing the same.

In other words, you helped derailing your own topic.

BTT: If an observer mode was introduced for "more successful" guilds in HA and if it lead to more various builds and tactics in HA as a result, i would appreciate it - more variety means more fun.

But i'm afraid i don't see SWAYers observing and learning - as far as i can tell most of them don't enjoy HA or PvP in general. They enjoy to spam their tiger in Lions Arch - and tell ppl they quit HA because it sucks.

For all other players, who really want to improve and get into HA or GvG or whatever PvP, i guess using your brain and looking for some good threads in forums like Guru and Team Quitter (emphasize GOOD THREADS) that can actually help you in understanding the game (kiting, strategy calling, how2melee, preprotting and skill knowledge/synergy in general) will help you more than an additional observer option.

I know exactly what youa re saying. This is really, my first disrespectful speech. But everytime I try to be heard with respect and moderation, all I get is flaming. The last time I tried to state a problem that this forum had, well guess what? I got locked/deleted. And most of the ones replying to that particular topic aggred with me.
As for the "how would your boss react", it was just to make a parallel between RL and in-game life. I am far from being a big-head and disrespectful, but you know, accusation/flaming accumulates... And will you agree with me, people really need to learn respect in HA, it is not rare that you get a "go back to PvE noob" or "wiki build much?" or "learn how to infuse" or "scrubs" or "noobs".

But RotteN, as I can see, your post of constructive at least, they arent limited to OMG NOOB QUIT THIS DISCUSSION. So thumbs up for you (the same goes for Horace)

Edit: Adding curseix to my thumbs up list :P

The only guild worth watching atm is DoM imo, simply because they are probably the last of the ''old'' guilds still intact. Most other old guilds are dead or dying, or simply stopped HAing. I wont talk about the other guilds because thats just flamebait waiting to start a flamewar, suffice to say I dont consider any other guilds worthy to watch... unless perhaps its a top 10 GvG guild going to have fun in HA between GvGs or if theyre farming HA scrubs during double lame weekends (like SuP and uF sometimes do).

Unfortunately noone really took up the mantle of the older more talented guilds, there are no interesting matches to watch anymore. Epic long matches between two highly experienced guilds are a thing of the past or at least since I stopped HA I dont see them so often (perhaps todays successful guilds have long matches but I doubt its because both teams are extremely high in experience rather an indication of their parity in experience) although I did have an epic 36min match vs GANK a few months back, now thats a match I would have recommended people to watch, it was truly epic. Theres dozens of matches Ive taken part in over the years which I wish I had recorded, part of the reason why I stopped HA was that the amount of matches I wished to be able to watch as recordings dropped to almost zero.

The remaining competition in HA is piss poor and has been for over a year, which has allowed many mid tier players and teams to rise to the top of the pile, whats worse is the attitude they have developed from their newfound dominance. So from my perspective I dont consider the majority of guilds worth watching... however... thats not to say that their matches wouldnt have ANY value for newer players... I mean they gotta learn from someone at the end of the day and getting nostalgic about the older guilds isnt going to help them.

But the best solution has been suggested already... look up the map objectives or note them down, then discuss with your team and make a plan, then practice implementing that plan until you perfect it, or until you realise you need a different plan for the maps because your initial ones were wrong. Sure you can learn what teams do by watching them, but you wont know why. If you can figure out why teams do what they do on each map, you wont need to watch them anymore and you will be able to figure things out yourselves.

practice makes perfect... especially in GW

since when did a long match=a good match , bashing your face against a wall of defence for 30 plus minutes is hardly fun , no ha guild is worth obsing atm theres not exactly a great deal of strat involved in the mass amount of annihilation maps or 3 way altar maps

Agreed. DoM is probably the only guild that'd be worth watching. Back when dR did halls, I'd say we were worth watching. rawr and sup have some good teams in HA. Regardless, all the guilds worth watching are already in top 100, and it's not worth implementing it just to add more bad guilds on obs mode. It's like replacing a healing breeze wammo with a heal party ranger. Trading trash for trash.

Just to dissect that list:

GANK (ofc)- alright, but they generally only run holding builds. Watching them on other maps is painful.
DoM? (they are in the top 100 but wtv)- good
ugly?- horrible. leeloof is only highly ranked because he plays a lot.
TV?- nothing special unless you like broken builds
uV?- who?
CneX?- who?
DOGS?- who?
AMp?- rspike
Crew?- average
KeYs?- decent and wins halls quite a bit, but not good enough to warrant a huge obs update
LOol?- who?
RuN?- who?
VaiN?- who?
LotP?- who?
DRKN?- bad

I never made the assertion that long match = good match. Neither did I say that it was long because both teams had a wall of defence although our build was inherently weak vs theirs. It would serve as a great example of how you can win even when it seems like you have been outbuilt by your opponent. Simple as that.

Ok to sum it up...
- if u don't belong to oldschool HA addicts u suck
- if u belong to mid tier players u will never become a top player... simply cuz wise guys said so
- uber arrogant gvg'ers who farm balled up pve archers >>> ppl from good HA guilds

AMp doesn't play rspike but various balanced builds btw... I guess ur last match in HA was like 1 year ago.

Sry for OT again but this is just too retarded to leave without response.

oh lol hey zaish
