Post Automatic leave in HoH

I got the idea (and so do many other) that after a team cannot win any more at KotH, cap point and relic runs that they should automatic leave (get kicked from) the battle.

This way teams cannot gank any more, because they lost already, of course they can still gank when they can still win, but lesser teams do that.

The reason why I made a thread about this is because more people will read it, so it get more "attention." And then maybe.... Anet can look at that...

It's an easy solution for the ganks from teams that gank when they cannot win any more.

Tell me what you think and be nice

Guildwars is a game.
a game should be fun. when im holding in courtyard and a retarded sway who cant winn anymore ganks me so we lose, makes me angry. Its not fun to play anymore if it happens all the time, and it does happen all the time.

so this system should be included on courtyard and halls KotH and altar capping...

Grz...

I do agree with that something has do be done about the ganking-behaviour. the problem is: how do you determine that a team "can't win anymore"?

say: you are on capture points in hoh. the clock says 0:50 time to play, so points will be given twice before match is over. one team has 22 points, one has 21 and one has 15. it is very unlikely that the team with 15 points will win this match, but theroretically it IS possible(if they get 8 points twice). most of the time this team will just start ganking for the single purpose of grabbing another 40 or 80 faction before leaving the match. i hate if this happens but in the end the gankers could defend themselves saying "we could have won".

but that's only for capture points. i'd love to have 1 team kicked when it can't win in KOTH anymore. but then again, what happens if one team caps altar and the other (brainless) bunnyway team just presses c, logs YOU in as target, even though you're not holding and uses all skills on recharge until you eventually get wiped because you played 8vs16. i think an automatic kick out of halls would only slightly decrease the amount of gankers, most of the time you can gank right from the beginning where the games sees you as having a chance to win.
by the way, one odd thing i noticed recently and that is really strange is the following: bunnyway players all seem to be colorblind analphabets when it comes to king of the hill matches where a BIG sign states which team is holding the altar at the moment, but as soon as they can't win anymore (because they need 4 points but the clock says only 1:59 minute left to play) they resign immediately. i really didnt get the intention behind that.

i don't share the opinion that ganking is a part of HA. this is a game, where winning and losing are usual experiences you get every day. if i lose a 1on1 i think "ok, why did we lose? can we do it better next time?" and it is fun to play. i don't care about losing if i know that my opponents are superior and i have no problem with that, because there's always a bigger fish. but one thing i really hate is if people gank you on purpose. this isn't fun, why don't you get that? can you imagine it would be fun to you? if i lose because the other 2 teams played 8vs16 i get angry because most of the time i couldn't really do anything against it. this is where the fun (remember, the purpose you play a game is fun) stops and my motivation to continue decreases.

i hate getting ganked but you can't really do something about it. it's the players who gank and you can't update them like if you were fixing a bug.

(excuse my bad english, i am german)

Lol, I was in HoH one night and we were in second, eventually was tying with first and then we started falling behind cause we got mass body blocked, when we got to the point it looked like we would, we were like...

"Fudge this, Let's Help Puff Puff Pass That, I hate that other guild" And well, we were like oh why not, we're bored, we'll get free faction too ^^.

So yea, we helped them and they were like wtf Yellow, observe more Puff Puff sucks. After the timer was out we realized that after we ganked Blue, we could have started Ganking Red and won because Blue stopped offering and started going for Blue(Puff).

After it ended the leader of my team got pm'd like 5x 'cause Blue was pissed lol. And one of Puff Puff pm'd me "<3".

I'm sure no team likes to be ganked on :X Wouldn't care if it was fixed, but it's still nice to have some fun even though you're gonna lose lol.

And get some Faction ^^ providing you're not UAX ^^ Wel lthen again there are Zkeys O.o

Edit: Made it look bit neater ^^

Do the people that post here even play HA? That's my question. Or know how to read what the OP posted?

Reading your story I come to the conclusion that you could still win and that your team was really lucky.

But ganking because of faction, isn't that a waste of time? If you resign and go in again you probably get more faction.

Honestly, speaking as a meember of a team that gets ganked a lot, ganking is a part of the game, it makes how you act in other maps important.

Flamers in id1, after winning, and after lossing are more likely to get ganked than people who say the customary "GG" after a match. People who talk shit, ganked more than people who don't. It adds a level of player interaction to the game.

And if Yellow hadn't ganked blue, blue probably would've ganked us...lol.

ganking= lots of fun, and beautiful PM's if ppl u know were in the group that u ganked

imo the leave dingy shouldn't be implemented since ganking makes u a bit more aware of what's going on and shit like that...and u get some new enemies
which is just <3

They can still gank because they like the other team to help them, instead of hating a team.

yeh really nice you hold out the pressure of two teams cap lots of points and when you finally lose it after lets say 7 points team X caps making team Y auto-kick since they cant win, good luck capping back against a good team. you'll lose 7-7 with team X having the star. Just an example of why this is just as lame.

Getting ganked sucks. There's really nothing you can do about it, other than suck it up, say GG, and go back in. If you're good, you'll get right back to where you were.

Its no just halls... its also in Courtyard...

until people stop adding others to their gank list and holding losses in ha as a personal stain on their family's honor that most be avenged... ganking will exist.

On a side note, sending a couple of your people to someones base is not a gank, it is a split. Cap points in halls is not a 2 point match. So dont yell you get ganked when two monks and a hero are capping your base.

oh no no no thats not the problem (at least for me)

gank away IF your team has a chance to win. The problem is when people gank and have no chance to win but continue to play to give another team (or to kick out the holding team from halls) the win.

higher rank people all seem to know each or heard about someone from their friends and dev. a "kill on sight" rule for that person or guild... which is really annoying.

yeah gank a team, they can't win anymore and they got kicked. Nice joke.

in KoTH it would be retarded to kick people anyway cause the only thing you have to do is gank the team that has the control. If you kick a team it would be so easy to hold.

Same in relic run or cappoints. If you do a gank with 2 teams on one from start, so they can't win anymore and got kicked: yeah nice joke.

and one on one relicrun-Koth-cappoints is more stupid in HoH !

this is not considered a gank, it belongs to the game. the point is, that if you are NOT holding the middle altar and the other 2 teams BOTH try to kill you, you don't really have a chance to play offensively enough to cap the altar yourself. this is what is called a gank in HA. there's no problem if both teams are on you as long as you hold the altar. but as soon as you do not hold it anymore, it's retarded that the other 2 teams still focus on you.

While i do agree that you can't really do anything against it while you are in a match already, i think you can prevent it a bit if you are always friendly to teams in advance and say gg or gl after every match you win/lose.

That is true yes, if a team chooses to split instead of holding the middle they can do that and it's just a tactical decision.

Ye that is true, it would be hard 1v1, but it is just fair that a team that cannot win leaves.
