I 100% agree that Sway is so boring to face and people have to wand in order to win against it and the match is not fun.

here's what I hate: high ranked people who get rolled against sway and start blaming every little reason (no matter how irrelevant) and freaking out. I like HA when it's a fun match but because of attitude of some of these people I do HA regularly maybe once every few months.

I understand they feel stupid being beat by Sway but then something's wrong with their build (unless some people made stupid obvious mistakes) or people didn't wand.

Attitude is what's wrong with other teams who face sway.

Sway is easy to beat if you take out their spirits and a stance removal skill goes a long way against those escape rangers as well.
As far as what's wrong with it.. When it was someone's orginal build it would of been fine and nothing at all wrong with it, same with IWAY for that matter. Unfortunetly people copy and when 85% of the teams are running the same build thats when people get pissy about it. It's also pretty simple to run and still be fairly effective which is probably why a lot of pugs run it.

ya theres nothing really wrong with sway, its just that people want fame and want something to run that is easy to set up and stuff. anyone non casual can beat them.

In courtyard brainless swayers regulary attack a team which is not holding (even with 0 pts). I wouldn't even comment on the scenario sway in HoH.

There should be something like IQ test before u can enter HA srsly...

People just hate it because it's easy to play and for the most part idiot-proof. So what you get are bad players playing sway, and it hurts the build's reputation.

Read his guild name and his character name please. You also spelled nerfed wrong. Sway is primarily button mashing for kills, emphasizing a very degenerative form of play. It's also annoying when you have to repeatedly face something so boring. Back to OP, I use 'gg' to actually mean a game I enjoyed playing whether losing or winning, not as a good-bye.

Thats what I think anyway.

I agree with holy, thats why i dont like the build anyway, i dont find them fun to play really. In my old guild we would always run some build that didnt involve that much skill and was often button mashing.

Well, we know what they say about people that assume. But to be that oblivious about who he was responding to.......

There's nothing wrong with sway. It's easy to beat for the experienced and those who have the proper tactics against it which isn't really much. You'd be surprised how often falling back and dragging a couple of stupid button mashing R/D's away from their healers happens including those in supposed "high ranked" sway groups.

ah here we go:

GG = A polite remark uttered after the end of a round, game, or other measured interval to indicate that a match was fair and enjoyable.

Not saying that I wont GG a sway team, but if i met a sway team with tactics (or vent) and was a good challenge then I will very well GG them. But I tend to GG more often when I feel as though the whole team attempted to win and was a good match or did win either or.

Little tidbit of info that will shock some people, & make some laugh.

Most people know who IYF is, (for those that don't it's inyour face gaming) They are a R9+ guild that do very well in halls. not uncommon to see them winning nightly.

What most people don't know is that Sway was created by Wreck, of IYF. He figured out that Scythe skills are effected by expertise, & he & Icey Dead People from Primal Fire (my old guild, which is how I know this) worked on making the build that is now known as Sway.

gg to all the high & mighty people that call Sway a noob build, it was created by someone at your skill level if not better.
