Default monk pvp armour

HEy guys,
I would like to know what insignias for pvp monk character, currently I use

head - 10 vs psych
armor-10 vs ele
gloves 10 vs psych
pants . 10 vs ele
boots - 10 vs psych

or would i rather make hp armour?
because of meelers with elemental dmg weapons...
but this combination is almost even, like 50/50 between ele and meele def...

best to have multiple wep sets depending on the situation shields against ele and phy...rather then wasting every insig on them..energy/hp are generally better IMO...then just have 4 wep sets depending on situation / who you are against...

<<<thats just what I do in HB/RA/TA/AB/HA/GvG ^^

for Insignia's Definatly Survivor. it's the most versatile Insignia available and since you can no longer switch armor during PvP combat than you gotta stick with 1.
what you should do as Payne mentioned is to have different sets of weapons.
most good monks carry a max shield with +10 armor(vs all kinds of dmg) and +30 hp. so you can pick whichever shield will serve you best for your current battle.

For RA/TA (for most gimmick monks like WoH Balanced, HC etc)

head - +5hp
Torso - +10armor while under ench
Hands - +5hp
Legs - +10armor while under ench
Boots - +5hp

For GvG - +hp always

For HA - variable.

And of course Shield. If u pick right shield vs incoming damage, its hardly improve your surviveability.

You only need +10 vs psych on your head, as that's the only place you can be hit by psychic attacks.

My healing monk has this setup:

Survivor Healing Head of Superior Vigor
Disciple's Chest of Recovery (the anti-Daze/Deep Wound one)
Survivor Hands of Minor Healing Prayers
Survivor Pants of Minor Protection Prayers
Survivor Shoes of Vitae

With a +30 sword and +30 shield, I end up with 625 health, a very respectable number. Also notice the Disciple's insignia on my chest, the most likely to get hit place by a weapon. A warrior starts wailing on me, I gain 15 armor if he puts on a condition.

Survivor with Minor Healing
Survivor with Minor Prot
Survivor with Minor DF
Survivor with the rune that reduces crippling
Survivor with Vitae

Shield Set with +10 vs. Slashing (Lightning, Piercing, Fire, Blunt...etc. I sit on slashing normally) +30 HP and +5e weapon with +30
40/20/20% prot staff
+15/-1 set
40/40 set

Switch shields as necessary. Staff for Aegis and Guardian. 40/40 for WoH and possibly Patient Spirit if you're desperate for the heals. 15/-1 set for when you're low on energy for emergency casts.

I was posting at work, and not really thinking, so yes.

Switch out the vitae for the sup vigor.

On RC prot monk I wear all Disciple's with minor prot, minor divine, 2 vites, and a sup vigor. For weapons I usually sit on my 20/40/+20% enchant staff since half my bar benefits from +enchanting. If I have to go to shield I most often use a +5 armor sword with +30hp/+10vsX shield. ^^

Survivor is always good. The +15 while under condition insignas might be good aswell with this meta.
