Default Skillbalance [HA Skillz]

I Would like people to suggest what skills should be fixed and so on. So Izzy can Just look here and listen to the suggestions that makes sence.

Here's my List:


Warrior:

Hammer Bash: 4 Strength or less = 50 % Fail.

Axe Rake: Target foe is crippled for 10 seconds, 7 Adrenaline.
(This skill is atm uselesss, Using it after a deep wound will get removed instantly)

"Fear Me": 4 seconds recharge.
(Change it or delete it, Its useless atm, And i think 4 seconds is gud enugh)

Distracting Blow: Make it deal a normal attack damage.


Ranger:

Rampage As One: Make it a stance.

Energizing Wind: Last 40 seconds. (At 12 Bm)
(This spirit lasts to short and dies in 1 attack, It is currently useless)

Fertile Season: Additional 200 hp (at 12 Bm)
(ATM useless)

Escape: This skill ends if you attack, Also running speed 25%.
(To powerful atm, And this makes more sence to the name?)


Monk:

Light of Deliverance: Recharge 6 Seconds.
(10 sec recharge makes it useless)

Healing Hands:15 sec recharge last 7 seconds at 12 Healing.
(This is an interesting skill wich sees no play, buff!)

Healing Breeze: 5 Energy 6 second recharge.
(to much energy for not so super effective.)

Aura of Stability: Last 17 seconds recharge 20.
(I dont care on normal maps, But in relic runs this skill ruins it all, By not being able to keep on both runners all the time, i think it will be more fun.)

Shield of Deflection: Last 5 seconds recharge 8.


Necromancer:

Offering of Blood: sac 10 % only.

Icy Veins: Make it death or blood or w/e.
(This should not be a lame energy gaining spiker/healing.)

Also: Remove the timer on Soul Reaping.


Elementalist:

Revert Blinding Surge

Windourne Speed: 1/4 Cast

Decrease the dmg on allmost every fire skill.
(I hate how much damage they do, Okey, move out of the AoE, But sometimes you cannot, I want nerfs on most AoE Dmg)


Ritualistbroken class)

Splinter Weapon: 20 dmg on 12 Channeling.
(as i said above, AoE dmg needs Nerf.)

Weapon of Warding: 10 Sec recarge
(To spammable/powerful to be kinda spammable)



Dervishbroen class)

This is a class i really hate, AoE hits are bad for the game.

Chilling Victory: 15 Energy

Wounding Strike: 8 sec recharge + Deep Wound ontop of Bleeding.
(to spammable and dw is covered, bad bad bad.)

Rending Touch: Lose 1 enchantment, If one enchantment is removed, Target foe loses 1 enchantment.
(Makes sence)


Paragon: (Broken Class)

Make Haste: Last 10 seconds Recharge 15 seconds.

Song of Concentration: Not effect Ghostly Hero.
(I know alot wont agree with this, But i think capping is to easy, I Rather have 2 Second Capping time and no song, than what it is now.)


This is the skills i can come up with now.
Also there is needed changes in Heroes Ascent, But i dont think Anet wanna spend more time fixing/changing maps here.

Incase they listen:

Remove Fetid River out of the rotation.
Remove either Forgotten Shrines or The Anthechamber.
Add Broken Tower with KotH into the rotation.
Add Sacred Temples into the rotation. (Best map dont know why it was removed.

Hall of Heroes:

Relic Run: First team cap wins, Not last.
(I Dont like relic run in halls but with Aura and Make haste nerfed i think its gonna be alot funnier.)

KotH: I dunno how to change it but it has Flaws, When a team Hold for lets say 7 points, The team that doesnt cap resigns after a few seconds, SO its a 1on1 for the team that capped, WIch is pretty much gg, It is real bad.
(I do like ALtar Holding alot more but i know it wont be put in again)

Capture Points: My favorite but with All AoE its not good, Not so good designed either but with AoE nerfed i think it is gonna be alot better.

your asking for random buffs and drastic nerfs......great.

if escape ends on an attack, then it should have it's speed stay the same, if anything it's duration should increase to make up for it.

AoE is bad for the game? Thats preposterous! just because you don't like it dosen't make it degenerative.

splinter is nerfed plenty

fear me was overpowered before

EW see's use, dosn't need a buff

icy veins is not overpowered at all

decrease fire damage? come on! is this even about HA? or are you just to bad to spread out?

revert bsurge? how bout we just remove melee fromt he game? it was overpowerd in it's original form.

idk about longer recharge AND deep wound not covered on wounding, but i agree it needs a nerf.



but besides all that, i agree lol!

Well I disagree with most of it.
Remember- A skill being useless is not a reason to buff it, and a skill that already sees enough play doesn't need a buff.
And stop complaining about IV spike it's not a powerful build really.

BRING BACK DP TO ALL MAPS. THIS IS PVP FFS

Buffing useless skills is something only Izzy is good at. The following is what I found quite amusing...

Uhm, I dont think this was a problem when it was 5 second capping in halls, and its shorter now, please stop.. lol

Lol, altar holding back in the day... remember that? Or did you not play back then? There were matches when no team could cap because of interrupts (i.e. Seeking Arrows) and no SoC. SoC not affecting ghostly and with all the damn interrupts that people pack these days even Sway with Warmonger's....

Please stop before you embarrass yourself even further with these ridiculous suggestions.

I dont think that 2 second capping time it would be a problem. one KD and it's game over, the ghost will cap. and i know you're gonna say AoS on PD mes wins but really, when was the last time you saw a (good) HA team without any form of enchant removal

An interruptfest would at least be non passive game play. The current meta is so overloaded with set it and forget it skills.

My suggestion:

Since we now have pvp/pve thingys, remove all that came with nf.
Balance all the old school skill that were buffed to match the nf overpoweredness.

meh, really just nerf all key skills for these "xxxway" builds_
- Escape/expertise
- I will avenge you
- etc.

If these build will sux ppl won't play them and will beforced to play some other builds

Lol, Theese builds arent even dangerous, Escape does need a nerf though.
I would say allmost everything that Nightfall brought is bad for the game.
as i said b4, We got seperated skills from the pve, So now we can just remove all Nightfall in pvp

If you can't see how broken Cap Points is, skillwise aswell as "fairness" wise, well, you clearly don't understand some basic math principles...

If you assume there is 3 good teams fighting, you can also assume a few other things:

1. A team is NEVER going to have their base nutralized by someone else.

2. A team is NEVER going to have their base capped by someone else.

3. If any team sends more than 2-4 people to another team's base, that team will ALWAYS send their intire team back aswell. This is because the third team (which is left untouched) will be able to have a full team at the center anyways, meaning the team getting "ganked" might as well send everyone back, because they won't hold center anyways.

Now, from these 2 statements, you can substract a few other general "truths":

1. It is unfavorable to go and "cap" someone's base. Because rule 1 states that a team will never have their base capped.

2. It is unfavorable to go and "cap" someone's base with a full team. You will leave your base unprotected, aswell as the fact that rule 1 and 3 together state that you won't cap the enemy base aswell.

3. The blue teams wins by nature, if you assume noone dies in the match, and they don't get ganked. (And that is what going for blue base is, because they won't loose, so that means the third team goes to run with the points)

4. IF people from the blue team dies, it still depends on how many people from both other teams are on the center. Becuase 2 full teams simply keep it neutralized, meaning that blue COULD hold the center for the INTIRE game, with not having anyone on it. (If both other teams keep the same ammount of people on their with blue having it still capped)

These are "theoretical" facts, and sometimes pracical situation isn't always like this.
I will now give actual facts (From my observations tough):

1. I've never seen a team that goes to cap another teams base win. Unless that team is an unranked heroway/sway and has no clue how to play.

2. I've never seen a team without AoE win Cap Points, unless by being the Blue team, or having redicilous ammounts of defence (Rspike, ritspike, ...).

3. I've only seen 5-6 matches in Cap Points that didn't end out in a full gank. An intentional gank that is. (Where the team KNOWS they are giving up their win to make someone else win)

Face it, cap points is badly designed, 95% of the matches ends up in a gank, making it possible for a randomway, with only 1 player and 7 "no show ups" (greyed out, dc's) to win, which is downright ridicilous.
Cap Points is not fun due to the fact AoE or redicilous amounts of defence win you the game, and not skill.
Cap Points is not fun, due to the fact that there is several rules (the one I gave in beginnign of post), that make the winner of the match either the blue team, or the team with most AoE, unless someone gets ganked, then the third team is winner.
Either way, winning Cap Points requires no skill, can be completely random and makes bad people feel pro (Bongo, ...) because they won by the random nature of Cap Points. Huray nabz took HoH [AGAIN] -If Only I could make a guild with such a tag-

Izzy is responsible for the skill balance. A guy who is responsible for something that essential as skill balance definitely is has to play the game a lot to find out which skills are being currently abused.

Well I don't need CR to check the observer and see all teams running 3 retarded DW spammers supported by even more retarded signet spamming biatches. And with most of games lasting under 5 mins all I need is common sense that something might be wrong.

Look at the last skill balance. We have separated pve, pvp skills (so wammos wont cry) but izzy did it again. WS untouched but loads of retarded random buffs.

There are many good posts how to fix the game on guru but they are being constantly ignored. I believe izzy just reads his talkpage on wiki maintained by pve'rs who contribute with their retarded ideas how to change pvp.

you guys are forgetting a simple fact: human nature tends to find ways to abuse a system.
that's how and why gimmicks were, are and will always be formed.
there will always be superior skills, skill combinations and gimmicky builds. no matter what ANet does, they cant control human nature

back in the day ppl complained about IWAY, it got nerfed. hello Ranger Spike, Blood Spike and Air Spike!
than those got nerfed. welcome super balanced boon prots! too strong people say, nerf people say! nerf people get...
than IWay makes a mild comeback along with plenty of physical heavy teams, as Monks didnt have solutions when boon prots got nerfed.
than came uber passive defenses and LoD.
they got nerfed and you should know the rest...
probably missed a few mile stones along the way but you get the picture...
