Default balanced build with some tweaks

okay so this is basically a ripped up balanced build (i say this because i have a bad history of tweaking). whenever i make changes to a build, ppl just tell me to go right back to the original, nothing like the classics i guess , but i am open to critizism!

Here it is:
[build prof=Warrior/Elementalist][Shock][Disrupting Chop][Eviscerate][Frenzy][Executioner's Strike][Rush]["Watch Yourself!"][Resurrection Signet][/build]
[build prof=Warrior/Paragon][Earth Shaker][Crushing Blow][Mighty Blow][Bull's Strike][Anthem of Envy][Flail][Enraging Charge][Resurrection Signet][/build]
[build prof=Ranger/Monk][Burning Arrow][Distracting Shot][Debilitating Shot][Apply Poison][Mending Touch][Natural Stride][Troll Unguent][Resurrection Signet][/build]
[build prof=Elementalist/Monk][Ward Against Harm][Deep Freeze][Blurred Vision][Aegis][Freezing Gust][Ward Against Foes][Glyph of Lesser Energy][Water Attunement][/build]
[build prof=Mesmer/Monk][Power Block][Shame][Power Drain][Shatter Enchantment][Blackout][Hex Eater Signet][Signet of Humility][Resurrection Chant][/build]
[build prof=Ritualist/Assassin][Caretaker's Charge][Splinter Weapon][Ancestors' Rage][Weapon of Warding][Soothing Memories][Protective Was Kaolai][Recuperation][Dash][/build]
[build prof=Monk/Elementalist][Word of Healing][Reversal of Fortune][Convert Hexes][Dismiss Condition][Protective Spirit][Extinguish][Glyph of Lesser Energy][Holy Veil][/build]
[build prof=Monk/Elementalist][Reversal of Fortune][Gift of Health][Spirit Bond][Restore Condition][Shield Guardian][Ward of Stability][Aegis][Glyph of Lesser Energy][/build]

hopefully it isn't too bad?

If you posted the skills in little skill box icons, it'd be much easier to see/understand such as [shock] instead of -shock (which you can do by placing the skill name in-between [ and ])

Edit: I would swap the Rt/A for N/Rt, as the only reason they have an assassin secondary is for [dash], and the superior energy management from Soul Reaping is much better then having Dash on your bar.

You dn't have a speed boost on a N/Rt.

There are so many things wrong with those bars. What do you want of this build? What is the reasoning behind those skill changes?

Honest answer? That build looks incredibly awful.

Warrior without [Bulls Strike]?

No need to say more... Take out that horrible skilled called Watch Yourself! and put in Bulls, please, for your own sake...

Yea, I mean it's not like he has to run flags or anything?!

Might want to add diversion on the mesmer and bulls on the warrior , I hurd it's good. Those monk bars are looking solid as well.

Agree here. I'd like to hear the reason behind the skill changes as well. As of now all the bars are worst than the regular bar that people run.

Rangers are mainly built to Gank the enemy base, not stay with the main team.

If your on a map with splitting ability and your rangers staying with the main team for 18 mins till VoD, somethings wrong.

@IcyFiftyFive - I herd runnin flagz wuz gud?!?

Edit: Btw, by my post i mean that your bar focuses too much on supporting the main team rather than killing NPCs or snaring flaggers or anything. If you want damage, BA is perfect, but you need a snare and maybe some damage. Pin Down + If you feel you can go without res on the ranger, take Sloth Hunters as well.

Also, your ele is focusing too much on prot and not enough on annoying Frontlines. Needs more snaring, and you could even take enfeebling blood or rend... no need for aegis.

Hex Eater Signet is fail, you need to ball up to use it right, leaving dervs with splinter free to kill you, and your unlikely to go against that many hexes atm. And Heroway is beaten by a split anyway.

Also, your monk bars are sub par to what pretty much everyone else runs...

Yea, easier to go back to using normal balanced - you've taken useful skills and replaced them with skills that'll do nothing.

First Warrior: Bull's Strike Instead of Shock, Enraging Charge Instead of Watch Yourself!

Second Warrior: Maghunter Smash instead of earthshaker(magehunter is easily better then earthshaker in gvg...), take out anthem of envy for rush, rez sig for death pact

Ranger: Savage Shot instead of debilitating

Ele: Icy Shackles instead of Harm. take out ward against foes for rez sig...take out GoLe for glowing Ice.(it might be better just5 to change the ele to a shatterstone steam ele....)

Mesmer: Diversion instead oif blackout. PLeak instead of signet of hex

Rit bar looks fine...

WoH: take out convert hexes for patient spirit. take out dismiss condition for draw conditions.take out extinguish for utility that doesnt cost so much energy(aegis maybe)

RC: guardian instead of shield guardian. aura of stability instead of ward.

and thats the changes so far that i can think of. update it and you'll see where you go with it.

I think if you want to make random skill changes here and there, you need to think about why you're making the change and explain it (like how I'm explaining why your changes aren't good). There's usually a reason why the "original" template was used by a lot of guilds--generally because it's the best of the kind anyone can think of.

Bulls -> watch yourself is horrible. Bulls is one of the most important warrior skills in the game, and you're trading it for a party buffer that won't even reach half your team.
Rush -> anthem of envy on hammer gets rid of your cancel stance. Unless you like walking around flail-locked, you shouldn't take it out.

Savage shot -> debil shot. Why? Savage/dshot are the two staple skills of any interrupt ranger.

I don't even know what happened here. We're not in HA, so harm and foes aren't going to do much. This ele is basically the normal ele without the snaring/blinding capabilities.

Needs diversion and pleak. Hex eater signet sounds like something you put in there actually getting roflstomped by hexes, but that's not the answer. The answer is to pblock a curses guy and pleak another guy over and over. Also, if your ranger had savage he'd be able to hit some stuff too.

You seem to want to run a split build with that BA ranger, but this runner is more geared towards a eurospike type of build.

Convert hexes is yet another skill that leads me to think you got owned by hexes, and extinguish was from that time you lost to disease condis. Ward of stability when you got hammer-trained. Bringing single skill counters after every loss when you don't know the repercussions is simply the worst thing you can do, because it makes you weaker against everything else.

and this is no exception. go back to the original, not because there's nothing like the 'classics' but because theres nothing like common sense. replacing good skills which synergize perfect with the rest of the skillbar for other skills that add nothing to the skillbar is baed.

Very constructive !!

There's a very simple explanation why balanced build is this way, it workd.

Some useless skills : Watch yourself, Hex eater sig, Anthem of envy (you don't want to stop hitting to put anthem up specially to have +20 ish more damage once), Ward against harm +AL ?? (you get plenty of AL with equipment)

RC monk is eavy on energy. Aegis is not a must (you can run pensive guardian and guardian.

Convert hexes and Extinguish are just BAD. 1 monk should Draw the other RC.

Enfeebling blood on 1 of the monk could be an option.

Ancestor's rage is out now, 2 sec. thing kills it.

It still farms NPCs and goes under the effect of spirit bond... but yeah, if it's spike damage that you want, channeled strike ftw

He lost to hexes, condis, and his team was taking too much damage. It's a habit that all starting PvPers have. Whenever you get beat by something, instead of thinking about what you can do differently or how the team's bar could change, you take direct skill counters that makes little to no sense.
