I'm no network analyst nor specialist, surely in 2008 there are programs and equipment that monitor stuff like this though, hell even the phone calls can be automated to contact the right people on their cell phones when problems arise. Pretty hard for any equipment to not notice the abnormalities that have been ongoing for the last 72 hours.

Your forgetting one important detail. Its anet. They take their time to do everything.

Any news of what the top 8 can be like atm? Cant log in to gw, and as I hear you boys and girls complaining about how bad the lag is, I propably wont log in for another couple of days so... plz?

EW, Glad, qE, KMD, rawr, Me, SSS, dR, SpNv, sup, StP, DyS, BdV, StS, Baby and vE. So except for DyS nothing too surprising.

Worst monthly ever, this is horrible, the bottom 12 guilds forfeited most of them top 100 from first glance. How does this make any sense when r200 guilds are getting silver trim. rank 1000 guilds getting bronze trim. This is horrible, how the hell can you NOT fix this Anet? pd played HALF their matches and could have gotten top 16 if they lost an extra 2 times instead of pure disconnects.

I am not buying GW2 unless this is fixed, how the hell do you expect your new game to compete with next generations of titles from competitors if you cant even fix a simple connection between continents.
