Good monks don't whine when I split off to lure an opposing WS derv away from the action.

Wrong. The best monks have already said their excuses before they fail.

Always add: "And I'm lagging" at the end of any set of excuses, so for example: "Diversioned, shamed, galed, blacked-out, pblocked... and I'm lagging." This is a sure-fire way to make everyone think you aren't as bad as you are, and thus blame other people.
I guess you've been playing with Liekkio?

I'm actually a girl. When you hear me talking as a guy on vent, it's actually my friend when he's over. He loves being able to talk on vent. That's why I'm such a terrible monk

Cool Monk

Greetings to everyone that is reading my Novel

I have read anything that all have you spoken freely and replied your version of what a monk should be....

Well this is what I think a good Monk should be:

Bascially a Monk must know all his / her own skills, must know how to use them and when not to use them..

Must require great Team Work Skills:

1. Honor
2. Courage
3. Strength
4. Patience
5. Faith

Also must always be able to take criticism with out loosing his or her rag from another team player...

I also think that the Monk (Heal or Prot) are the back bone to all teams..so try to go ease on the Monks they are only doing there jobs and keeping you all alive....

I know there are loads of things that people can say that a monk should this and a monk should use that...but if you really think about it for a moment..we will use this as an example....

You are in the military and there are medicals that represent Monks and the Gunners that represent the Warriors and the Snipers and rangers I guess you get the general Idea what Im refering to... so if someone is wounded you call Medic (Monk) Monk really a medic know there job so there on your case 24/7... But if you get a sloppy medic that is scared adn doing know what there doing you have a failure to the whole team all die and your country fails...Im sure you get the general idea now....Im not just point this at the monks this goes to all professions in the field...

If you want a good team you all must communicate some how! Some of us like myself cannot in real life its impossible of the very few of us being mute (sign Language) but hey I have made it this far with 29 Max titles and rank 3 in pvp...so not everyone needs I mic ...but you must have a communicating device such as Vent or TS I know some people who cannot afford this uses yahoo group messenger as it also helps and is free.....

Oki Ladies and Gentlemen I have taken alot of your time so have fun

God Bless

Kind Regards

Lady Katrina Wolf

where do i sign up?

and a good monk knows exactly wut the enemy offensive line is doing and going to be doing, and is able to react/plan accordingly

the more information u can read and hold at one time, the better
ideally, u shouldnt -need- to be told wut key conditions and hexes to be removed, who to prot, etc
u should already kno it

of course, a person can only obtain so much information at a time
thats y, communication helps

I don't think you read the thread title.

The best monks are the ones who e-date Lemming.

What defines a good monk is a monk who has rank 15.

Right?

I tend to disagree with you there on two accounts

A. Player could of bought there account
B. A rank 15 Monk can be very good at PvP, But! not very good at PvE..

You see its not how many titles or rank you have got that doesnt define a good monk...

A good Monk is calm and collective and knows what he / she has to define while playing... I guess cause there is a hype out at this present time with to regards to Rank 15 everyone is so worked up saying r15 FTW but I tell you being ranked doesnt mean he or she is a good Monk...

Have fun posting
